For the Flaming Lips, I would suggest you check out Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots (follow up to The Soft Bulletin) or American Head (their latest release) next.
Shzawn and Trey, I might have heard of this band but I'm not sure. Cool facts you shared. The first song has an interesting intro. The song is an upbeat Pop song. The lyrics are interesting. You guys both made excellent comments and insight into the lyrical meaning. I agree, the lyrics are thought provoking. Your analyzing of this song is very detailed. The second song is more of a Rock song. I agree Shawn, it has a psychedelic '70's sound. i agree Trey, the first song is catchy. I agree with you both that the first song is the winner of this battle.
Interesting 2 songs .I liked the first song Yeah yeah yeah better as it is much more upbeat for me ! The 2nd version of the song it sounded like a record being played backwards for me 🤔 😊
Two good songs from the album that followed their two masterpieces (The Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots). The album as a whole was not as strong as those two predecessors, but then it was almost impossible to maintain that quality. The album is still a great overall listen and I agree with your pick in this song battle.
Good stuff Men! Like what you do.
Really appreciate the kind words!!!! Thanks for watching Wes Wright!
I would go with W.A.N.D but that's just because I'm right. Hehe
haha great point!
I agree; I like Yeah Yeah Yeah better but the W.A.N.D. reminds me of very early Pink Floyd. Both great songs...
Thanks Dee!

Really appreciate the suggestions and thanks for watching Brian Gabrial!

I saw Tame Impala open for the Flaming Lips. Incredible.
That is quite the 1-2 punch!
