- This one has been a long time coming! Between the application, the design, and the execution it was several months. But the project was huge for me and hopefully for the city. It was such an interesting space, that proposed a few challenges. But I think we were able to make an engaging, educational and relevant design and piece of art for Albuquerque and for downtown. I painted portraits of Martin Luther King Jr, Frederick Douglass, Coretta Scoot King, and Booker T. Washington and linked information about everyone throughout the wall! Hopefully you take something away from it 🙏🏾

You're A true craftsman. Although I don't know what those people have to do with New Mexico. Booker T Washington is the only one who did more than talk or read speeches written by other people. Maybe you should do a piece highlighting Estevanico an African credited with discovering New Mexico.

I wouldn't say they have any specific ties to NM, but its more so just an overall tribute to the country and movement as a whole. And i'm gonna have to disagree with you about the actions of the individuals depicted. Fredrick Douglass was instrumental in allowing black people to fight for their freedom in the civil war and ultimately in the emancipation proclamation. And MLK gave his life for the cause and for awareness of it.
But ill definitely check out Estevanico, I hadn't heard about him! That's crazy!!

Even though after that wonderful buildup, you went "Just looking at this some pieces are trash, I will have to come back and do a touch up" My goodness... because you think some pieces are trash is the reason why you keep improving so fast lol This mural is awesome
