I bought Harrison's 'Living in the Material World' album when I was 17. I loved it immediately, the compositions were straight from the heart, George's emoting, his slide guitar playing, the artwork. There was a lot to appreciate. I've heard the new remix, and I'm buying the double CD. They made a great album even better!
I love all of George Harrison Albums from All things must pass to the last one , I cant find a fault with any songs , I have listened to Living in the Material World for a few years.

Dave My Friend, you have the double album, fantastic , it is a masterpiece, I know the meaning of it, and what George was was saying, great album, Dave I ordered the exclusive purple from George, I haven’t recieved it yet , can’t wait, I think I will get the two cd set, but it is taking a bit too long, I’ll keep on them, the double album is excellent very well done, Dave Takecare, Besafe, Enjoy , Enjoy, 44 pound a good deal, Bless You and Sue, Steve
😢Hi I think you're right about ranking this album, before the announcement of this set. At least in my ranking it was far below. This mix however made me enjoy this album more. Not muddy, not muffled but clear. Dark Horse is still my favourite George album and Brainwashed is my number two. I think if All Things Must Pass was a single vinyl it would be the best solo Beatles album, but I think I am just one of the very few with this opinion The big box doesn't have the poster and the two inners. They should have been in the box. You got product for your money. You really do. Enjoy listening the vinyl. Take care
I must admit this is one of George's albums I've not played in a long time, possibly since it's last re release in 2014, but like John's Mind Games I have had to revise my own thoughts and opinion of this album. Like Mind games, this to me suffered a little bit from a , I wouldn't say muffled mix, muted possibly, and like John's album, this new mix brings more clarity to the record. George's vocals are more to the fore, the songs themselves have to my ears more room to breathe. One thing that has been a revelation to me is Jim Keltner's drumming, so good and now so clear, and John Barham's Orchestrations sound amazing. Overall Paul Hicks has done a tremendous job with this album. While we all enjoy this album/CD/Box Set we can only wait with bated breath to see what he does with Dark Horse, now that I would imagine will be a challenge to remix

Hi Dave i pre ordered the super deluxe boxset to be told it was out of stock , got a full refund , ive been searching everywhere for a copy without much luck atm , the album you bought is the next best i guess and definitely worth its asking price, so good on you dave . By the way if you manage to locate a few copies of the deluxe boxset can you give me a shout please 🙂 anyway all yhe best Dave regards Martin
Always been fairly underwhemed by this album but I do crack it on now & then. Really still don't understand the point of the duplicate sleeves 🤷🏿♀️ TF is up with the size of that box
I Won't be adding to my Beatles / related collection ever again from those people "Biggest River" my pre ordered box set came 5 days late and also my girlfriend who bought this for me got a code to her phone which she had to respond to, to the driver it just so happens I was @ home when her package arrived, I won't be getting anything else from those lot again my friend

This set on the Harrison Website has been labelled (out of stock) for at least a month, maybe more. As much as I love Oliver Harrison and Dhani for who they are, they only made 5000 copies Worldwide?? It's going to be Interesting to see what and when Amazon makes a move. Save yourself some money and just get the CD version and you’ll have pretty much all the music in the big box Only thing missing is the single

I think it was originally something to do with A&M records, then moved over to Warner Brothers 😊
Terrible hassle you had Dave & did none of your local record stores not have the LITMW Box Set as i've seen a few advertised online..... HMV etc.
