    This narrow screen is an advantage of this phone and not a disadvantage.

    Great vid, sir. I had a foldable once, the fold4 and man, if only the hinge didn't give up so soon I'd still be rocking it. Went back to the s23U and I would want to use a foldable in the next years, but I'd let the tech mature just yet.

    I have read different comments on your videos of people saying things like "finally someone using the phone", I thought this would be normal. Apparently no! For me, you set the standard!

    Great video as always. Great to hear someone else saying they like the front screen. Honestly for one handed use its brilliant.

    Man, you're making me want to trade in my 21 Ultra a Fold. The multitasking capabilities are insanely useful. The inner screen is so huge. I've watched other reviews but none have impressed me as much as this one, especially in the software segment of the video. Amazing. Then again the Fold 4 and 3 are cheaper and basically do the same thing for less. I'd definitely buy one if they made an "Ultra" version of it.

      I would recommend the fold 3 if you were interested in buying one of the older models. Like you said, they can both do the same things as the fold 5, but the fold 4 model seems like it has more hardware issues and failures. So why not get the cheaper 3 to try out this form factor.

    Just wish it wasnt so expensive😥 i got mine $1000 off on sale half way through its lifespan. And having it since then has been a gift. Iv always loved gadgets and large screens. Having such a thick phone just does something for me. If it was as slim as a normal phone i wouldnt like the appeal. The entire formfactor is a plus for me. And i use multiple applications constantly.. i have an ipad on the toilet.. enough said lol

      Wish I could have a case... I didn't buy warranty on it so not having a case is not the smartest... but then again I dont intend to forget this on my lap while getting out the car like I would a normal phone... my poor iphone 13 was to durable with its tough case and I gotta say hand down best screen protector iv ever seen. Cracks look like scratches and scratches didn't exist! When my iphone fell on the concrete it stayed there till I was ready to pick it up. Like that thing was NOT breaking lol. But it being so durable I could care less about if it was in harm way. But now I treat this thing with some level of respect. I blow the dust off the screen and wipe off any spit and dirt.. but I seem to open it so little it'll probably last longer than most phones out there. I plan to upgrade to the next one if it suits my likes. But rounded corners AND pointy corners is definitely more visually interesting than 4 sharp corners.. plus when opened its 4 rounded corner.. the next seems to be nothing but sharp corners.. there's no need to change the casing samsung.. thing looks expensive enough

      I feel you bro, the price tag is pretty high. I also agree that they SHOULDN'T make the Fold 6 corners sharp, that would be tragic.

    I love my fold 5, I think I'm gonna wait for the fold 7 or 8 though. I want big upgrades not little one. Before this phone I had a A53 for years. So the this fold 5 is absolutely amazing for me. I'll never go back to a normal phone. Love the videos man!!

      While they're at it, they may as well add all the cameras the Ultra phones have.... now that'd be a REAL flagship.

    What about z fold 5 durability ?

    • @JamaltlLee
      @JamaltlLee  День назад +1

      I think the general durability is good. There's always the higher risk of failure than normal phones when you buy a folding phone.

    I like the review and the honesty. However I definitely think they should make it slimmer and the front screen needs to be a little bit wider it doesn't have to be as wide as a normal candy bar style.

    • @JamaltlLee
      @JamaltlLee  5 месяцев назад +3

      Yeah, after thinking about it more, they could make the outer screen wider without making it hard to hold.

    Yeah you can’t put 6 months of using a device into 8 minutes, if you’re doing a more long term review like this you can’t just jump quickly through everything and hit a conclusion, it needs more in depth talking about.

    Are you still daily driving the fold 5 or did you switch to the s24 ultra ?

    • @JamaltlLee
      @JamaltlLee  5 месяцев назад +3

      Unfortunately, I decided to keep the s24 ultra until all the foldables drop this year 😭. I already miss the fold 5, but I think imma keep this phone as my main camera phone to have beside whatever my daily driver will be later this year. I'm looking forward to seeing the z fold 6, pixel fold 2, and oneplus open 2.
