I am from Uttarakhand and I love Ghewar + there is Ghewar in almost every sweet shop during monsoon.
+ Kadi chawal is very much dear to us. This shows how interconnected our cuisines are even belonging to very different states. +That is koda (millet/raagi) .
Definitely do a pahadi food video but please try to visit that place, it will make it more interesting authentic and amazing ....

@@bashantsingh yes, as I have a very old book on history of uttarakhand which tells about our ancestors and their original place , among which Rajasthan is one of them and there are other states like Gujarat, Maharashtra and so on . But like Vivek there are many people who have only heard from their grandparents and have no clue whether it's true or not . But it's quite interesting to know all this that most of the food items in Indian cuisine are not just popular in one place but many others.

Kaustubh has quite intricate knowledge of Rajasthani cuisines (e.g. reason of eating onions and ker sangri vegetable).. Glad to know.. Also reason for Rajasthani food being spicy is that it will result in sweating which ultimately will cool down the body temperature in Rajasthan's scorching heat..

I'm from Rajasthan. Lived in udaipur for 3 years. Those were best years of my life. I miss everything abt it. Lakes n baarish is on top of that list..❤ Felt good how kaustubh explained everything perfectly abt all dishes n how to eat properly 😂 bt u missed ghewar n dal bati churma k sath nimbu+ pyaaz + mirchi ka jagda + chaach is must 😍

You can't feel the real taste of the traditional cuisine without actually going there and I suggest you visit bikaner to try dal kachodi and papad and especially for the desserts like rabri, rasgulla etc.

Rajasthani cuisine is never complete without Rajasthani non-veg delicacies which r heaven❤. Traditional Rajasthani Rajputi non-veg dishes r so mouth-watering🤤😃 Hence this video looks incomplete☹️
So glad he mentioned ker sangri... When they said no sabji.. I was like they don't know about pachkuta or ker sangri (both are made same way, pachkuta has more things including ker sangri). Then kaustubh mentioned it and that was a relief.
You should eat dal baati churma with lasan ki chutni and kachchi hari mirch it'll taste on another level

Mai Rajashthani hu aur is video me jitni bhi chize dikhai hai specially baajre ki roti😂 lemme tell u baajre ki roti fold bhi nhi hoti itni moti hoti hai aur use garm garm ghee ke saath khaya jaata hai tab pata lagega uska taste aur kadhi bhi aisi nhi banti 😂. Hum sardiyo ka wait hi sirf baajre ki roti ke liye karte hai. I will suggest agar real Rajasthani food try karna hai toh vaha jaake try karo❤

This video brings back memories. I was born in Jaipur and visited every summer during childhood. You could get samosa, kachori, mirchi pakoda etc. from anywhere and it was delicious. Namkeens, sweets, kulfi was amazing.
Churma didn't have ghee as it should have....btw lovely video❤

yrr this i expected a lot from this video....i am from rajasthan and the only dish that is closely connected to our place was malpua nothing else is not even came close.........rajasthan ka khana is always good as compared to any other place......sad ki yeh nakli khana khila rha h crew tumko........padharo kabhi rajasthan tab local jagah ka authentic khana khana........and its offensive to see gatte ki sabzi in kadhi like wtf...😐😐😐😐😮💨🤷 ....but its fine loads of love to you all..💞💞❣
