I have literally watched at least 20 reviews on the Galaxy Bud +. Not one of these reviewers knows about touching your ear for volume control. Shane - you deserve to have at least 100 000 subscribers because your attention to detail is sublime.
Others feed iSheep... They are saying one driver Airpods sound better than the two drivers on Buds 😂 11 hours per charge and 11 more on case! I take mine outside without case, I don't need the case. I am going out with my dog 4 hours long walk and the night I am running without touch the case. An Apple user have 3 times to charge them to achieve what I do.
I especially loved that this was the only review I saw with the Buds+ in natural lighting, cuz I'd usually wear headphones when I head out but I couldn't tell with other reviews how they'd look outside. Good job!
To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.
Had to re upload, everything is good now! A few things I missed - These have IPX2 water resistance, so a little rain or sweat won’t mess these up, but definitely don’t swim or shower with them. - Wirelessly charging these on the back of your latest Samsung device is quite handy - There appears to be a Red Color as well! Check out the link in the description if interested. But what do you think of the Galaxy Buds+? Thanks for watching!!
I was trying to tap on the edge of my earbud to increase the volume and decrease it and it was working really bad .. but when i saw you video and noticed that you can tap you ear to do that .. oh my god it blew my mind its an amazing feature love it.
My first vid of watching this RUclips channel and WOW I am so impressed. Going through literally, everything possible for these Buds+. With details on what "WE" (Consumers), want to hear and see and not tech specifics that most of us dont care about. Just got yourself another subscriber!!! Thank you for this great review Shane
Hello Shane. You have given us an excellent review: Thorough and realistic and No shouting!! You have covered the issues I was having about these buds.
After countless reviews on these buds+ not one reviewer in detail went over all the features like you did especially the extra volume up/down by tap of the👂. Excellent review and kept up the 👏
I got the buds+ a few days ago. Thanks for the tap-the-ear tip, brilliant! They have a great level of finesse in the mids and highs, and a tight/deep bass. However, having the equaliser on flat makes them sound a bit boring to me. The Dynamic mode helps a lot, but is a bit too intense. Using the Android system equaliser instead +3+3+2+1+0+0+1+2+2 (Samsung A70) makes these things sound awesome! I like lots of strong bass and plenty of sweet glossy sounds at the top end to balance it out. For me, they went from a 7/10 to 9/10. Hope this helps someone.
Watched like 20 reviews and you are the first one that mentions the comfort of them. That you can wear them for an extended amount. That was the info I was looking for, because it doesnt matter if they have 11 houres of battery when they start to hurt after 15 mins. Thanks!
I'm sold on the intuitive, ear-touch controls. I love the original buds, and I welcome the smart improvements, call quality, and battery upgrade. Subscribed.
One of the most thorough reviews I've come across of the buds+ yet. Keep up the good work, Shane! Edit: You missed out on multi connection test though.
I got the buds + two days after they came out and have loved them. They truly upped their game and worked on improving just about every feature from the original buds. These are definitely my favorite truly wireless buds out there for all of the reasons you mentioned
your review is highly detailed. I have watched a lot of youtube videos reviewing these tws earbuds but yours provide the most test and discussed all its features. I only knew about the tapping the ears for controls here in your channel. thanks a lot.
As far as the range, I work in a huge warehouse with lots of aisles with product stacked on them (gets in way of me and phone) can leave my phone at my desk and walk very far away without the audio being interrupted at all. I love these things and would strongly recommend them to anybody.
Great Review! I already ordered mine and I've been looking for a good full review and after so many unsuccessful views I've found it, keep up the good work and I will definitely subscribe to your channel. Thanks
Always go to Shane's review on anything before anyone else's. His are always the most thorough, the most accurate, and the most detailed. The man really has a knack for good electronic product design.
wow amazing review!!! i saw other reviewers talked about Edge volume but they trashed it especially Engadget but the way you demonstrated is so freaking cool and new!! really well done you deserve more subs than what you have now!! keep up the good work 😍😍😍
Dude you're like one of the best tech reviewers I've seen. No fluff which I like. You just get right down to the facts. Quick question for you. Have you ever used any smart home devices like Google home or Amazon echo dot?
That was amazingly explained about all the features and especially the secret of tapping ears can actually increase volume. That’s amazing.. keep doing best videos like this.
Awesome video man! Thanks so much, I received a pair of galaxy buds+ for my birthday last week and i love them! Thank you for all the information! New subscriber here!
That ear tap suggestion is genius, I kept thinking I have to hit the corner to get them to work and a lot of reviewers complained about its inconsistency
I've watched several highly-rated reviews of this product, yet I still learned a few new things from you. Great job! Are there any issues re BT drops with the phone in your pocket?
Great review, as always! I really like this new version of the galaxy buds, and what better way to get to know them than through your videos. Greetings from Mexico! 🇲🇽 🤟🏽
Brilliant! Tapping the ear for decreasing and increasing the volume! The most useful solution I got from you. Tapping the edge was not working properly and I thought my purchase was a mistake. Thank you, Samsung should appreciate your comprehensive presentation 👍😃
Saw your previous video about the previous gen and liked that your were honest about the device. Same with this video, you're a great reviewer 👌 You got yourself a new subscriber.
I ended up getting a pair of these Buds+ and one thing I found from another review video is to go into the phones actual sound settings. There you can adjust the phone sound equalizer and really customize it. Plus getting the right wings and inner ear tips to get a good tight fit changes the sound and I really had good base once that fit was much more improved. Went back to the phones sound equalizer settings and adjusted and I'm impressed. I've got good base now that the buds are more secure.
Jabras music quality sounds better but they kept falling out my ear during workouts and runs. I had the active version of the 75t but sadly i returned them and picked up the buds plus and I’m happy with them especially when working out so comfortable with clear crystal sound
got my set today, one for me, and one set for my wife and we absolutely love them! Also linked up to my PC with no issues and do they ever sound great!
Keith Palacios I like dark colour and got the black pair and got the white ones for my wife. I’m sure the blue ones look good but I’m just into the darker colours for myself :)
Great content man! I had the OG's for a month without realizing the new ones had been announced. I really enjoyed them till the left one crapped out. Got a refund, ordered the buds+ immediately and can safely say that these are definitely a worthy upgrade from the OG's, especially if you sell your OG's to get that little bit of money back if you're a little short on cash but can't wait to get the new set. I agree with every point you made about them apart from the bluetooth connection distance. In my experience, I didn't realise until I measured but I was just about 50 feet away from my phone that was in another room separated by a cinder block wall with electrical panels mounted to it. It impressed me but maybe im just easily pleased. Great video, buds+ are fantastic, I like dogs!
Ooo I was wondering if they were water resistant. Gonna need that if I'm at the gym, if I win that is.. and btw the s10 lite is an awesome phone. Thanks for the recommendation. Hope I get the buds. Keep making awesome videos Shane. Thnx
Wow, super crisp and at the same time ,detailed review, appreciate the efforts you have put in creating a very sensible video which can help a lot of people to decide on purchasing this
Thank you for being the one and only reviewer to significantly cover gaming mode. Gaming being unplayable was my main issue with the original buds, you've sold me the + with that.
Thanks Shane. I have seen many Galaxy Buds+ RUclips reviews. Yours, is probably one of the top 3 that I have seen. Well done. Couple of comments: these Buds don't fall out, period. Both versions of the Air Pods will fall out with activity over time and can easily be pulled out accidentally when removing shirts-only real complaint are the "double tap/single tap" controls - they do not always work well as the Air Pods do. Hopefully, they can improve on this. I would rather have a single tap for phone calls. My Bluetooth range has not been that bad at home. Sounds like you may have some out/inside interference somewhere from some other device(s). A good tight fit in the ear with no ambient mode turned on is almost as good as ANC, in my opinion. For the money, not a better earbud out there right now.
Wow the review is fantastic by being honest with the pros and cons.and most importantly it answers all my questions exactly what I need to know.Cheers bro!
First time on this channel and after first video - liked & subscribed. Great video content and explanation. 👍 I have Gear iconX '18 and I know the connection issue if the bud moves even slightly. You almost have to pull out & back upwards to make sure the sensor detects your ear. Shape of the inner ear can make a big difference.
When you say that the Bluetooth range is a problem for the Galaxy buds+ what are you comparing it to? In comparison to the original galaxy buds, or other true wireless sets?? I own the original and am planing on an upgrade based on your excellent review, but I find the Bluetooth stability excellent on the original buds in comparison to everything I've used before. Thank You for this great review! Can anyone else who has the new buds give your experience with the range?
Just got them yesterday....After playing around these are truly the best i ever had!Sound is great as well as the battery life. The ambient sound function works super!I can wear the buds all day in all circumstances thanks to the ambient function. They fit pretty well and for me the noise cancelling is not needed because these shut of the ambient sound well enough!
My problem with the original was that they frequently cut out sometimes for no reason but always when I was out walking my dog when my phone is just in my pocket. Did you experience any connection issues when walking outdoors?
