Great video, does the play/pause sensor work? more importantly, the buds+ was advertised as Bluetooth multi point, which mean can be connected to 2 devices at the same time with out disconnecting and reconnecting ? I am basing my purchase decision on Bluetooth multi point working correctly, would appreciate if you have any info
Have you tried hooking these up to a wireless transmitter that's connected to a walkie talkie? I got these for work since I use a walkie at work, I'm an undercover security guard. I bought a $20 wireless transmitter and within 5-10 minutes when someone talked on the walkie their voices sound distorted/ bit crushed. I contacted Samsung and they told me to just contact the company and let them know about the issue. Give it a shot so you know what I'm talking about... might be worthy of a video.... I also reset the buds and it still did it. I ended up buying a $45 Airfly transmitter after that and it still happened. My coworker has the same transmitter but he uses the first-gen Airpods and he doesn't get that distortion. I tried both transmitters with my Bose Soundsports and the noise was gone so I assume there's something up with the Galaxy Buds. I also tried both transmitters with my girlfriend's Buds+ and the noise was there too with hers.
Funny about that, I've tried all the wings and none of them even touch my ear. Even the buds themselves aren't perfect for my ears, I have a cheap 30 dollar pair of buds where the eartip protrudes further into the ear canal and they fit great, the samsung buds actually tend to slip out because the tip is so much closer to the bud itself. Really a shame, I'm not even sure I can keep them because of how easily they pop out.
Because the info is incorrect. The 07 don't have a 100 battery hour case. That's the older 05 version with a much larger case. Actual spec is like 25 hours from the case.
I love my buds+. One thing I hope they add in the future is a find my case option. I once lost my old buds while in the case and I didn't find them for a couple days. ( My kids found them and stashed them in their room)

Did you guys try them first at the store before purchasing them online? Or you just bought them based on these kinda videos ?🤔 i see a really good offer in Amazon and i wanna buy them but I don’t know if I should go find them at a store first and try them out ! (don’t knw if they even allow that now)
I got this as a birthday present tysm for explaining everything they feel so nice in your ears if u get the right size and the audio is pretty good would recommend for anyone who wants to buy one.
Listening to this with my galaxy buds plus was hesitant to buy them cause I thought they were expensive but I am so glad I bought them for a person who hasn't had any high quality wireless bud they sound amazing .like you listening to the video with the speaker rather then headphones.
I just found out that you simply tap the back of your ear or your cheek near your ear to turn the volume up and down. You don't actually have to physically touch the unit in your ear. It must use the accelerometer. Great video I just subscribed and I pick mine up in 2 days. So now I have a full heads up as to how to use it. Great job!
Adding a new and second comment. Just bought a pair but was a little hesitant treating myself right before Christmas. But the sale price was in the "why not" section. But anyway I have them set up and trying to adjust the sound. I did the phone sound equalizer you mentioned. I had ok sound but nothing thrilling. Then I felt like the ear buds were not as fitting to my ears. Took of the wing tips and the inner ear ones. Placed the slightly larger set and WOW did that change the fit and the sound. I have A LOT more sound and bass so I'm rocking it out with my music. So a good "tight" fit makes a massive difference for the sound quality. Once that fit was much better I went back to that equalizer in the phone settings and adjusted even more. Really good sound! So highly recommending the trial of the wing tips and inner ear pieces to get that seal and sound.
Great comprehensive video! Huge props to you for even demonstrating the phone calls and swapping between different calls using the buds +. I have not seen that demonstration or mention in other galaxy buds + review videos before.

I to am suffering from this issue, I'm about to try a fix that I found on a forum. The tip stated that you should run your case charge down to 0 and each of your buds down to 5%. At that point, charge everything to 100% and it should improve. fingers crossed

The touch is so sensitive that I easily give the Buds+ the skip forward, skip back, and pause command without meaning to. I may be pushing my hair back or some other gesture. I know you can turn off the touchpad, but that's too drastic and creates more inconvenience. Any suggestions?
Saw another vid that said that option actually uses the accelerometer in the buds rather than physical touch like the other controls. That would explain your observation, and also perhaps why some people say it's flaky as they may just be touching the edge instead of tapping it to tweak the motion sensor. Good to know tapping ears adjusts volume as I'll be getting my new Buds Plus next week. Thanks.
Thanks for making this video. I used to be really on top of tech but slacked the last 5 years so when I picked these headphones up I was a little lost at what all they could do. 👍

"This actually took a lot of the bass away...." >Shows bass at unity and trebles being lowered. Lol. In all seriousness, it's likely the boosted mids buried the bass, making it seem quieter.
Yeah, the bass is still there. The problem I noticed is that the mids are so forward it feels like they're being jammed into my ears. The bass trails behind and always feels a bit diminished or slow. I spent 5 days trying to make them work for me, but finally decided that my regular Buds were much better for my tastes.
The way the double tap edge feature works is not because the edges are touch sensitive (they're not), but because it hears the taps. So even if you double tap the touch pad (not the edge) with your finger nail or anything, it'll actually adjust volume. This is the exact same reason why if people tap softly on the edge, it doesn't work. It's similar to the back tap feature that was brought to iPhones in iOS 14 if you've tried it and thus requires a lot of software optimisation to be good since there's no special hardware.
I must admit, I always thought ambient sound was such a stupid gimmick, but it was useful to talk to my family sitting in the living room while listening to music. Medium ambient sound with music volume down low was perfect.
