Same here, I'm happy with them, the ambient sound option is incredible, the level of detail you're able to hear and if you turn it off it blocks all noise. Call quality is excellent.

It's pretty simple to make a conclusion of which one is better: galaxy buds+, just because of the price vs the benefits. Airpods pro are too expensive for what they actually do.
The Buds + seal of so good that you won't miss the anc. Also the 11 hour battery life plus another 11 hours from charging it with the case (in 3 minutes you get 1 hour of listnening time) makes this the winner.
1. Price : definitely goes to buds + 2. Call Quality :Might be a tie 3. Fit :Buds + 4. Design : Absolutely goes to buds. So that might be a tie. Final Verdict. BUDS + All the way!
Yeah I would agree with you for the most part on those 5 categories. The battery life and call quality are probably a tie, the price is definitely on the buds+ side, and the fit might be the buds. The airpods do feel very nice in your ears though. I would almost argue that the fit is a tie as well. I think if you added "customization" or "compatibility" categories, the GB+ would really start to pull ahead. They are very customizable and play nicely with everyone!

Ehab Al-hanash if I had to say one is better I'd say the Airpods pro by the thinnest margin ever. You can't go wrong with either. I think it'll be personal preference. For me the AirPod pro still comes out my ear after about 5min until I bought foam ear tips now they stay on and never come out. It's just expensive to buy these 3rd party ad ons. The Buds+ fit me a lot better and never fall out plus I like using the app to adjust my audio and ambient sound. Airpods as you don't have any app and comes as is.
Agreed, the labs volume, plus hold for Spotify left and hold for ambient right AND skipping and pausing tracks, makes me hardly ever have to use my phone 😂 So mint
I personally like the Galaxy Buds+ more especially since they increased the mic for calls over the last model. Before the Buds+ came to the market I owned the Airpod Pros for awhile and they are definitely not worth the price tag because I was getting everything in the buds + but for a cost savings of $100 and the sound/call quality are the same who wouldn't want to save that money.
Great review! Especially appreciated the sound test. I have the Buds Plus and although at times they can get uncomfortable if I'm wearing them for a long time, I absolutely LOVE the ambient sound feature. First weekend I had them, I flew cross country. Buds did great for watching shows/listening to music while letting me hear flight announcements in the airport and in the plane. It's like external noise gets amplified and crispy clear so you can hear without ever needing to pause. So impressive!
This is underappreciated video review, gotta pump up those numbers! Testing outdoors got me, did not expect that and i'm not even mad, that was great to see!
Loving my galaxy buds +, the bass is superb, superior mic quality and was even a lil bit better than the air pods pro in a loud environment maybe because of the 3 mic setup. The highs and lows are noticeable improvement than last gen, And battery is fine as hell getting 11 hours on just the buds itself without the need for the case lmao. Lastly one of its best feature is the tap nd hold to open spotify, that feature helps us spotify users alot without the need to open our phone. Definitely worth the price.
I'm super hyped with the buds plus. Also you can tap the back of your ear to adjust the volume without touching the buds at all. I thought that was a nice touch.
I was worried the buds + would fall out. However, to my surprise the fit is great and I love them so far. I've had no complaints over phone calls. Just one minor thing...accidental touches when adjusting them. But considering the price and all, I recommend them. Great review!
10:58 Correction: You can lock the touch pad too on earbuds to avoid pausing your music etc. That feature is on the wearble app as well as the buds widget. 😊
Wow i would actually say the Buds+ has become equal in call quality which is worlds better than the original galaxy buds. I have been testing them on calls in loud areas and have confirmed the same
I've been using the 2nd gen Airpods for almost 2 years now and I'm not a big fan. Was thinking of getting the Pro, but it retails for like 300$ here. The Buds+ cost 150$ and the reviews seem to like it and I do like the shape of it as the Airpods keep falling off my left ear while working out. :)
The first review that I feel was an honest and unbiased comparison! Great review! What it all boils down to is which one them fits your needs and this guy did a great job conveying that! Not like the other comparison reviews I have seen that always thinks because it's an apple product it's automatically better! Great job!
Great review again Mike ☄️ I have been trying the Buds+ and I have been using Aipods Pro’s for a couple months on a daily basis for work and recreation. If you have Samsung devices just get the Buds+ If you have Apple devices iPhone, IPad, MacBook (me) Airpod Pros If you have mixed devices are active and more into music listening but do need decent calls and vendor independent multi-pairing get the Jabra 75t’s Elite or Active If anyone dares to disagree with my opinion that means they have a mind of their own and good on you 😁
Thanks for watching!! I think that is a pretty fair generalization. But with the Galaxy wearable app now available on iPhones, anyone who has an iPhone but nothing else in the apple ecosystem might like any of the three buds you mentioned
Yes app works really well on iPhone only thing I could see missing was notifications, nice to see Samsung or whoever they contracted it out to use the IOS SDK properly
I watched 3 videos of your and I loved this video and the fitbit versa 3 one awesome job and you are probably one of the first creators to actually show the raw microphones of the Buds+ and Pros
I want more reviewer to be unbiased and telling us the truth not what they're a fan of, because we aren't here to listen there fan story but the real review because at the end we are a buyer and we want something good for our money weather it's Apple or Samsung. From your review I bought the bud + and I'll be getting it with in two days. NEW SUBSCRIBER👍👍👍.
I subscribed simply because you're the first RUclipsr to point out that its an accelerometer in the buds plus that does volume control... i kept trying to tap/press like they say... i wasn't giving it enough of a shock to register.....thank you. It works fine now!
One thing I'll say is that the Apple pressure vent system and transparency mode makes the airpods pro blow everything else out of the water in terms of comfort. I've literally had times where I forgot I was wearing them. That being said, I'm definitely wanting to try the galaxy buds too. I'm a fan of both for different reasons.
Great review...I personally have both but I’m swaying more to the buds plus...they stay in easier and last longer..the AirPods also started falling apart . I guess the glue on the inside speaker was pretty cheap
Personally prefer the AirPod pros only because the noise canceling, and you can turn it on and off, plus the audio is better imo, although the pros are quite pricey. But I recommend the buds due to price and the difference between the 2 are very minor.... anyone with a decent budget should get the pros tho.
Despite the price difference, I was really blown away by the active noise cancelling of AirPods Pro versus the passive noise cancelling of Galaxy Buds+. Active noise cancelling is just absolutely insane.
Great video and I have to echo what others have said . I appreciate that you did the test for the microphones . Haven't seen that anywhere else and it makes it easier to pick . Awesome work man keep it up
Just pick a Buds Plus few days ago and I like it so much. I'm curently using it with iPhone 12 and surprisingly It pairs with my iPhone flawlessly and even better than with my OnePlus 6T. In my country It costs only 90$ while Airpod 2 costs 150$ and Airpod Pro costs 250$. Its cheaper and sounds much nicer than Airpod 2, that why I picked it although Im using iPhone.
Just bought on Amazon Galaxy buds plus , and they are coming in 7 days 😅 can't wait, sorry they are a gift for me and I would prefer Galaxy buds plus +
@@Julian-mr5bx it doesnt help if the battery is in the case, you need it in the earbuds, the mic is debateble and the price of the airpods pro is just outrageos. There are some benefits to the Apple earbuds but not many.
Jake Wallace but you don’t get that better apple chip with those and it’s not very convenient and that’s why people love AirPods.if they didn’t have that most people would buy other headphones
@@Officialmarco-nr2qm its what ever you prefer, at the end off the day mate just trying to help, but so far the Sony ear buds are the best I've had for music the call quality isn't great, the galaxy buds plus are really good also there basically the same as airpods but with more features, and also the power beats Pro are very good headphones but for price a quality id got with 1 Sony buds 2. Power beats pro 3 galaxy buds plus/ air pods Pro This is my view but off course everyone is different just my opinion
7:48 i done a lot customizations with my airpods pro into shortcuts app for example if i open google meet my phone will go with meeting"" focus mode and its will turn on noise cancellation Automatically!
Air Pod Pros are pretty amazing. I use transparency mode all the time in the office and noise canceling at the gym. I had standard earbuds like the Samsungs before. Better base and better in the gym but always had to take them off to hear around me or chat with people.
@@jake1408 Yes. It's a different feeling than the pressure from passive in ear headphones. It feels more like the pressure from over ear noise canceling headphones.
@@jake1408 Transparency mode is very comfortable. They don't even feel like in-ear headphones. Noise canceling mode isn't bad in my opinion, though it does feel like your ears are going to pop. I think that's just the nature of noise canceling in general.
Man this dude did a badass review vs the other big RUclipsr reviewing earbuds. Does this thing pair up with an iPad or an iPod? Edit: nvm, saw the end and the mention of iOS. I want these.
They cost about the same where I live, only thing i'm considering the Apple ones for is noise cancellation since other noise cancellation are all about the same price. Hmm, decisions decisions.
I liked that your review was unbiased. I too tried both headphones but liked the AirPod pro better as far as sound, noise cancellation feature and the way it stayed and felt in my ear.
I LOVED this review. Thank you. Every tech person who has reviewed these products seem to arrive at the same conclusion. In terms of cost and functionality - Samsung Buds are superior. I just bought a pair and I am obsessed! I loved how I can customize them. I think they are beautiful and fit in my ear perfectly. The apple ones are not bad. They are just overpriced.
I have the buds+ and have zero complaint with them. I use the extra loud feature because I've played drums for too long and way to loud in bands and it works awesome. Calls are perfect. I am a very satisfied customer. Buds+ for the win. Great review by the way 👍👍
Damn I gotta say that audio test was great.. airpods isolate your voice alot better which is pretty cool but I'd still go for buds plus.. $250 for 4 hrs is jus crazy tho like I wouldn't dare
I have Jabra 75t actives and just got the buds plus yesterday.if you like loud music with unbelievable bass get the jabras.battery and podcast listening go for the buds+. Call quality leans buds but not by much. Ambient is a tad better on the buds as well.i put my Galaxy buds in my ear at 830 am and it's 1143 am and battery is at 82% non stop RUclips ambient on and off
I got the Galaxy Buds+ and there's a awesome feature I found out. If you tap the back of your ear it can reduce and increase sound (right ear = increase, left ear = reduce sound). Try it out!
I personally prefer the buds+. A couple months ago I switched to Samsung but I had the original airpods which was just not very compatible with my samsung phone. Switching to the buds+ was a great choice, especially considering the price difference for what you're actually getting feature wise. Great video, it seemed pretty unbiased so good on you!
For what it's worth the reason I picked up the galaxy buds is they're tuned to the Harman curve eq meaning they have very little impact on the actual sound of the music. So playing flac files or hi res audio you will hear the piece as accurately to the recording as possible, minus the customization that a user can do with the app. From the perspective of an audio tech, the sound quality and reference is objectively superior to the airpods.
In terms of actual audio quality, airpods pro are significantly better, as would be expected with the price. The only thing that the buds have going for them quality wise is bass boost. So if your friends prefer to listen to music that doesnt rely on shitty tuned up bass to disguise the lack of talent they would be right because in terms of actual audio quality airpods win. Bass boost does not equal audio quality.
When I’m talking to people. They say they couldn’t hear me on the black galaxy buds + but they could better on AirPods Pro. Which I just bought for black Friday for 160
I have the liberty pros and I don't like them too much. I hate that they don't have any transparency mode. Didn't know how important that was until I got them. I have to keep taking them out of my ears to talk to hear something. I once lost an earbud because of that. The comfort and fit is great though. The sound is just ok. A little v shaped and a little too much mid bass (I prefer more deep bass instead). Acoustic mode sounds best (more balanced). I think the Jabra elite 75t sounds better (after lowering the 60Hz bass somewhat in the app). The momentum truly wireless sounds best though. But it sucks at battery and is uncomfortable. Note: I have the airpods pro, Jabra 75t, liberty pro, e8 2.0, and momentum truly wireless. I will try the galaxy buds+
Great and honest review, for next time please add the bluetooth range in your comparisons since this might become the most annoying feature of any earphone.

I just got galaxy buds+ today and I found it you can change the volume by tapping once and then again but holding your finger on the touchpad to change the volume to make it quieter or louder I tried double tapping the edge of the bud like it said to do but it just wouldn’t work with me so I’m glad you can just do the double tap long press to change the volume
I'm ordering the Buds+! I just need something to drown out my 3 kids so I don't have to pretend that I can't hear them. Amazing review....thanks for the great info!!
Saw your video to make a purchase, i was hugely confused between Truly wireless earphones. I ordered Note 20 ultra and wanted to go with Buds live but ANC doesnt work as per reviews and it does not allow us to tune out. Buds+ provide that. Also, combined with Samsung ecosystem and wireless charging, i went away from Jabra Elite 75t as well. So Thanks for these tests and videos. Very helpful. Subbed. !!
No ambient sound range test? That's vital. I use Galaxy buds+ at work and I can hear everything on the extra high. Galaxy buds let me hear a loud noise or the person next to me, but the + lets me hear anything I normally would and more. The + gives you such an off-ear listening assist, that you can hear clearly.
Galaxy buds plus are $99 on Amazon. So you're basically paying $150 more for active noise cancelation for the airpods pro. Galaxy buds are the way better value
So which is best? Airpods Pro or Galaxy Buds Plus??
I much prefer Galaxy Buds+.
The pros still wld stick out of my ears way too much. And pros are way too expensive.

The most in depth ear bud review/comparison I've ever watched and the mic comparison was dope. New Sub! 💯
Thank you for your kind words!
Great review style and super informative. Doesn't sound contrived or sponsored, love the way you developed this! Subscribed!
Thank you! I'm really happy to hear you liked my video style!
I've experienced both but personally the sound on the galaxy buds are amazing
Thanks for your review ,my father said he'll buy me the buds+ for my birthday yay
Great job!
Thanks for the honest comparision of the mic. Even after 3 years, these 2 earpods have one of the best mics out there.
Great review again Mike ☄️
I have been trying the Buds+ and I have been using Aipods Pro’s for a couple months on a daily basis for work and recreation.
If you have Samsung devices just get the Buds+
If you have Apple devices iPhone, IPad, MacBook (me) Airpod Pros
If you have mixed devices are active and more into music listening but do need decent calls and vendor independent multi-pairing get the Jabra 75t’s Elite or Active
If anyone dares to disagree with my opinion that means they have a mind of their own and good on you 😁
Thanks for watching!!
Sadly the Jabra buds, in my opinion, don't block the call noise as well as these two....
I've got the airpords Pro on Samsung devices and they work great
Yes Jabra sent good filtering background noise on calls I use my AirPod Pros if city travelling
Thanks watch a few of your videos and went with the Galaxy Buds plus .
I had an iPhone 8 and the 1st generation airpods and I just got a note 20 and galaxy buds + as a birthday present and gosh I was missing out
I watched 3 videos of your and I loved this video and the fitbit versa 3 one awesome job and you are probably one of the first creators to actually show the raw microphones of the Buds+ and Pros
Thanks for the review! Just ordered the galaxy buds+
Glad someone actually mentioned the fact that they have entirely different sound profiles, +1 sub for that
I subscribed simply because you're the first RUclipsr to point out that its an accelerometer in the buds plus that does volume control... i kept trying to tap/press like they say... i wasn't giving it enough of a shock to register.....thank you. It works fine now!
I'm glad I could help! I try to review things as an engineer, and really get to the fundamentals of what's going on
One thing I'll say is that the Apple pressure vent system and transparency mode makes the airpods pro blow everything else out of the water in terms of comfort. I've literally had times where I forgot I was wearing them. That being said, I'm definitely wanting to try the galaxy buds too. I'm a fan of both for different reasons.
Hmmm na if I'm going for that price range I might as well get the sennheiser momentum
Great review...I personally have both but I’m swaying more to the buds plus...they stay in easier and last longer..the AirPods also started falling apart . I guess the glue on the inside speaker was pretty cheap
Great video, I ordered the S20 Ultra and currently have the Galaxy Buds so wanted to see the comparison to the Buds Plus for when they arrive! Thanks!
Excellent! Enjoy your new phone and earbud combo!
This is one of the best reviews, the mic test wasn't just glazed over. The app was also explained in depth. Amazing review 👍
I'm definitely getting the Galaxy Buds+!
Great video and I have to echo what others have said . I appreciate that you did the test for the microphones . Haven't seen that anywhere else and it makes it easier to pick . Awesome work man keep it up
Great video! It would be cool if you added the PowerBeats pro to the comparison.
Thanks! Maybe I'll throw them into another future comparison!
Good idea! I might throw those in the mix in a future video!
Just bought samsung bud +, waiting it to be shipped to us. Based on the feedback, really thrilled to have them !
Watching with the Buds+......it's awesome, for it's price.
they are like BEATS SOLO PRO/ BEATS STUDIO3 ?
I recently got the Galaxy Buds Plus for $80 Canadian dollars ($64 US). They sound Incredible!!!!!!!
Apple : Extra 100 dollars for less battery life and for no reason
Random People: Get my money
active noise cancelling
best mic quality
better transparency mode
air pressure vent
smaller case + bigger capacity
@@Julian-mr5bx it doesnt help if the battery is in the case, you need it in the earbuds, the mic is debateble and the price of the airpods pro is just outrageos. There are some benefits to the Apple earbuds but not many.
@@Julian-mr5bx the Sony buds are cheaper longer battery sound better and the nosie cancelling is much better than the airpods....
Jake Wallace but you don’t get that better apple chip with those and it’s not very convenient and that’s why people love AirPods.if they didn’t have that most people would buy other headphones
@@Officialmarco-nr2qm its what ever you prefer, at the end off the day mate just trying to help, but so far the Sony ear buds are the best I've had for music the call quality isn't great, the galaxy buds plus are really good also there basically the same as airpods but with more features, and also the power beats Pro are very good headphones but for price a quality id got with
1 Sony buds
2. Power beats pro
3 galaxy buds plus/ air pods Pro
This is my view but off course everyone is different just my opinion
7:48 i done a lot customizations with my airpods pro into shortcuts app for example if i open google meet my phone will go with meeting"" focus mode and its will turn on noise cancellation Automatically!
Air Pod Pros are pretty amazing. I use transparency mode all the time in the office and noise canceling at the gym. I had standard earbuds like the Samsungs before. Better base and better in the gym but always had to take them off to hear around me or chat with people.
Tony Valadez Do you get a pressure feeling when using the noise cancellation?
@@jake1408 Yes. It's a different feeling than the pressure from passive in ear headphones. It feels more like the pressure from over ear noise canceling headphones.
Tony Valadez Is it an uncomfortable feeling? Because I’ve tried the Bose QC35’s and it felt too much like my ears were about to pop
@@jake1408 Transparency mode is very comfortable. They don't even feel like in-ear headphones. Noise canceling mode isn't bad in my opinion, though it does feel like your ears are going to pop. I think that's just the nature of noise canceling in general.
Great vid i just ordered my galaxy buds + and they are coming in next week
Man this dude did a badass review vs the other big RUclipsr reviewing earbuds. Does this thing pair up with an iPad or an iPod?
Edit: nvm, saw the end and the mention of iOS. I want these.
Thank you!
This is the best buds comparison i have ever heard, including that part you did an outside test
Just paid 75 for the buds+ so I can't lose. Super in depth and informative review BTW ty!
Got my glaxay buds plus in Pink (korean version) cant wait to see how they are!
I bought the pink ones from south korea too!! I love them so much💗💖
Just milk please.
But I like pink too.
Awww man thats awesome !
This is one of the best reviews I’ve ever seen. :))
You are a complete package reviewer. One of the best youtuber I've watched.
I have the buds+ and have zero complaint with them. I use the extra loud feature because I've played drums for too long and way to loud in bands and it works awesome. Calls are perfect. I am a very satisfied customer. Buds+ for the win.
Great review by the way 👍👍
this video actually said everything needed to say and did a great job and didnt make a 30 min video
Ambient is a tad better on the buds as well.i put my Galaxy buds in my ear at 830 am and it's 1143 am and battery is at 82% non stop RUclips ambient on and off
That is an excellent summary of the GB+ vs Jabra 75's! I love them both and as you pointed out, they both have specific niches
@@MikeOBrienMedia great video I just subbed
Thanks! I'm really happy to hear you liked the video
My buds+ are coming in tomorrow and I can't wait 😁😁😁
I got the Galaxy Buds+ and there's a awesome feature I found out. If you tap the back of your ear it can reduce and increase sound (right ear = increase, left ear = reduce sound). Try it out!
I can hear both as clear for the mic test but since i am buying a Samsung phone i am getting the Samsung Galaxy Buds+

I have buds plus with Note 20 ultra. In Touch and hold, I cant change Bixby to google assistant. Someone help, please...
I have some friends who say that air pods are better. This video will help me shut their mouths
Great detail review. Waiting for my buds plus to arrive
Thanks for watching!!
I wanted the active noise cancellation and absolutely love my AirPods Pro.
Good to hear!
You dont need ANC in the GB+ due to the shape it comes it, it already cancelles out the outside sound without technology
3A5 20 Kwek Yi Heng nah I’ve used both and the buds don’t even compare to AirPods Pro when it comes to noise cancellation
@@burritobunny6901 😝comedy
When I’m talking to people. They say they couldn’t hear me on the black galaxy buds + but they could better on AirPods Pro. Which I just bought for black Friday for 160
Great review. Could you do a comparison between the Buds+ and the Soundcore Liberty Air 2?
I'll consider making that comparison. Or more likely, the Liberty 2 Pro's
@@h1a8 Have you tried galaxy buds +? Can you share your experiences please? Are they better than jabra or liberty
Great and honest review, for next time please add the bluetooth range in your comparisons since this might become the most annoying feature of any earphone.
Galaxy buds+ user here! I love them so much!!
Do they stay for 11 hrs without a charge as they say?
@@사라-t9g and more =)) i have them on when i sleep , when i work , when i poo ... i have them aaallwaays ... maximum i got those to 30% ... and 100% case batterie
Just bought the galaxy buds + And I never Knew it was based on vibrations for the volume up and down thingy, I've been thinking you had to use the touch control right at the corner, helped a lot.
Great review...definitely kept it neutral
Thanks! I really wanted to make sure I was as neutral as possible because I saw a few reviews and many seemed pretty biased.
Your absolutely right..
I just got galaxy buds+ today and I found it you can change the volume by tapping once and then again but holding your finger on the touchpad to change the volume to make it quieter or louder
I tried double tapping the edge of the bud like it said to do but it just wouldn’t work with me so I’m glad you can just do the double tap long press to change the volume
I'm ordering the Buds+! I just need something to drown out my 3 kids so I don't have to pretend that I can't hear them. Amazing review....thanks for the great info!!
lol! These should do the trick!
Am I the only one who thought he literally meant drowning his kids.
She*, oopsies
Saw your video to make a purchase, i was hugely confused between Truly wireless earphones. I ordered Note 20 ultra and wanted to go with Buds live but ANC doesnt work as per reviews and it does not allow us to tune out. Buds+ provide that. Also, combined with Samsung ecosystem and wireless charging, i went away from Jabra Elite 75t as well.
So Thanks for these tests and videos. Very helpful. Subbed. !!
I just got the AirPods Pro 2 days ago and I’m loving them! The ANC is amazing when I’m on the go and they are perfect for me as I’m an Apple user!
Notice he didnt like your comment
And liked someones from 24 hours ago
There are so many comments, that I try to get to as many as I can. Sorry about the confusion.
Nice! I am really glad you like your airpods! It sounds like you definitely made the right choice then :)
@@MikeOBrienMedia lol
No ambient sound range test? That's vital. I use Galaxy buds+ at work and I can hear everything on the extra high. Galaxy buds let me hear a loud noise or the person next to me, but the + lets me hear anything I normally would and more. The + gives you such an off-ear listening assist, that you can hear clearly.
Got the Galaxy Buds+ and i like them alot :)
Good effort capturing that siren on both. AirPods Pro sounded better in the studio and outside IMO.
Galaxy buds plus are $99 on Amazon. So you're basically paying $150 more for active noise cancelation for the airpods pro. Galaxy buds are the way better value
true, I think that the Galaxy's are the best value for reliable non noise cancellation buds with good software.
You did an incredible job accurately representing both ear buds. I own both and couldn't agree more with everything you stated. Very well done! ✔
