Hiya mate. Good to speak to you at Melbourne on Saturday. Great little spot for a mooch on land or water and not too busy. Catch you again sometime. All the best Mike👍
Have you seen the 2024 Tandem version on your travels yet? I was lucky to buy a Sevylor Diveyak in 2006 (still going strong) and have been considering this as upto date version of that kayak, the paddle board function would just be a bonus.
@@MoreThanJustaCleaner your review helped me decide to go for a hybrid. I ended up going for it and buying the tandem 2024 version. I was going to do a review, if interested. 😹 it will be my first time reviewing something on RUclips though, it won't be very pro-looking (at all).
Hello, I was able to test the board, as a standup board it is very tippy, as a kayak it is great, I don't know if I will keep it because I also wanted to use it as a standup board, p.s. I've been doing standup paddling for a few years
@@MoreThanJustaCleaner Yes, I saw it, it looked good, that's why I bought it, unfortunately the weather is getting worse to do further tests 😭, but I'll keep it because it's great as a kayak
Have you still got the Cascade? Looking through your videos, it seemed to be your favourite. My new short list is now the Cascade or the Optimal. Sorry to keep asking things! Cheers.
Aqua Marina is selling these direct right now for 1/2 price as of April 8th, 2024. How did I miss this one? I bought a Bluefin Cruise 10.8 which I absolutely love, I paddle it exclusively as a kayak, like you I have no interest in stand up paddleboarding, I wish I had seen this product last year. I may still buy one of these anyway.
@@MoreThanJustaCleaner I've been enjoying your videos mate, I appreciate your commitment to the inflatable segment 😀, you've surely got the most comprehensive inflatable kayak review video library on RUclips 🤔. Ugh gonna be a job getting that one inscribed on your trophy. 🙂Cheers!
It's largely personal preference. I prefer a longer paddle to keep water out of the boat and generally use 240-250cm paddles. I'm about the same height as you 👍😊
@@radioold6812 oh lord yes yes yes! Any gear included with a boat should largely be considered to be intro level crap! The price is for the boat! Any extras may or may not be a bonus. I've reviewed these on my channel a couple of years ago. I still have one.
Not being that tall I can't talk from personal experience. However if you see the clip with Dave in the boat - the guy who says about it being stable - he's 6'2''. He didn't have a problem with it 👍😊

How do! :D yes it was good to meet you!
Hi 6 foot 2 inch 19 stone body builder , would this be a good first boat/board for beach rive canal etc
@@a3xloser I don't see why not. It'll have a weight capacity of around 180 to 200kg.

No I've never seen one. Sounds big 😅
I am trying to find a review for the 2024 Tandem one, no luck yet! I was considering it too.
@@ClariceReviewsStuff it would certainly be a stable craft.

@@ClariceReviewsStuff just go for it, I hardly look professional myself 😅 Do you like the tandem version?
Great video ty. I want to buy for sup as well would this be suitable for csnsls and lake district?
Yes it's a good all rounder 👍😁
@@MoreThanJustaCleaner is it possible to go from apperley bridge to Leeds City center down the canal and the river aire? Would love you to do both!
Via canal definitely possible. Not sure about the river because many canals exist to bypass unnavigable rivers.
Another great review 😊
Cheers buddy 👍😁
