I am starting to appreciate the lancero size. Have not been a fan in the past, but I am now growing very fond of the lancero experience.
Mazz, I have never met you in person but I watch you talk and communicate with us and you are a friend of a friend of mine who visits the same cigar shop as I do in Metuchen NJ. From my opinion and the opinion of others who know you, you are a CLASS-ACT and down to earth gentleman. GOD BLESS YOU and thx for all you do!😊😊😊
Lancero= Elegance, Sophistication, Class...The perfect cigar for a Sunday morning!!
Absolutely love that My Father continues the tradition of making lanceros ❤️👍🏼👍🏼
My Father, my favourite.I've recently been smoking more coronas and lanceros and really getting into them.✌️💨
These are some of the best cigar videos out there. Anthony is certainly a Pro and it shows in his knowledge and delivery. Well done Sir.
Much appreciated Mark 🙏
I wish more company's would do lanceros, so elegant
Garcia and Garcia My Father is one of my “go-to” choices along with Carillo. La Promesa and Le Bijou are simply fantastic
Need to try a lancero. I really enjoy its more stocky brother the Lonsdale.
My humidor is full because of your videos keep up the great work!!
Thanks, will do!
Im going to my cigar shop tomorrow to see if they carry this size. Growing up my uncle always smoked Canoñes by Arturo Fuente and I love longer cigars, it takes you on a journey with flavors.
I had the same cigar a few days ago. It was a present from fy father for my birthday. He bought it in a tobacco store when we were in Florida. I really enjoyed that cigar. I live in Germany and unfortunately I couldn't find these here. I also liked the size of it. It was one of my first cigars that was longer, Lancero in this case. I am still new to the cigar game. Also congrats that you are about to hit a 100k subscribers. I do really enjoy your professional cigar videos. Especially cigar reviews like this one. It is also nice to see cigar reviews of cigars I already have smoked.
I’ve been very interested in smoking a lancero recently! Great content! I would love to see more lancero videos from you guys!
We'll see what we can do 👊
Have you ever seen the 1961 film, Parrish. Watch the screen where Karl Malden cuts open a cigar and explains what a cigar is made of.
What a coincidence! I just decided that lanceros/petit Coronas are the right size for me and that is the size most of my staple cigars will for now on be in. Doesn’t take too long to smoke, beautiful flavor development, and so elegant in the hand and mouth. But yeah very enjoyable size, and I’m glad you see the same pros as I do!
🙌
La Promesa's are fantastic, it's one of the first smokes where I got like proper tasting notes. Every now and then you get like a flowery flavour out of them that is really cool, easiest way to describe it is a lillypilly (its an Australian fruit so US guys might not know it but trust me the flavour is there in the back)
Will have to give that a try. Enjoying 2013 Caldwell, Long Live the Queen lanceros currently. Love complexity. Smaller ring gauge is my go to. ...its abt the wrapper!
Love that blend. Pretty much anything my father puts out I’m a fan of. Maybe I’ve just been unlucky, but every lancero I’ve lit up has had a tight draw :-(.
Anything from My Father is definitely killer. Try dry boxing your next Lancero, that might help with the draw!
These videos are superior quality. Great review as always.
🙏🙏
Just smoked the Lancero. Incredible cigar, excellent construction, loved it. Thanks for your great review Mazz. Love the Garcia’s cigars!❤
Glad you enjoyed it 🙌
Next interview should be Litto and/or Tony Gomez from LFD!
Agree! Great guy who makes great cigars!
Yes
I agree 100 % ! As I'm having a LFD Cab 5 Maduro here in a few minutes.
@@jeffherdz having a double ligero right now myself.
@@PhilVogt6384 Sweet !
I love lancero’s
Lanceros are my favorite size
Waiting one of those sticks to come in. Can't wait to burn this one down. As always I appreciate your in depth videos.
I bought this directly from Holts based off this video. It was a very enjoyable smoke. But! Seemed to have a little bit tighter draw. While enjoyable I did feel like I had to work harder for an equal pull compared to my Davidoffs
I haven’t tried a lancero yet, but so far, I haven’t had a cigar from My Father that I didn’t like
It's a shame we only get a very limited choice of cigars in the UK. I enjoy a nice lancero . 👍
Lancero goes hard just smoked this one, top gar loved it
Good Evening 😊 Awesome👌🏽 Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
The original my father #4 i think lancero was the first stick i bought...
Beside the holts club of course!
Mazz do you ever pick up maple syrup notes when smoking cigars (or just maple flavor in general)? I smoked a La Promesa a little while ago and picked up some maple syrup on my palate (toro size I believe).
I do. I can see that with this cigar. Sometimes a sweet note will come off as maple or possibly caramel. It’s a fleeting & brief blast of flavor but I definitely do at times.
Ok fine, I'll head down to my shop and try some lanceros
🙌
What is the difference between lanceros and salamons?
A Salomon is usually a large ring gauge shaped cigar. It’s classified as a perfecto or figurado. Opposite of this shape actually.
Lonsdale needs to come back or even corona Gorda etc.
Great info. I believe I heard you suggest that an underfilled cigar burns hot and tends to sting your palate? I have experienced this with several different brands, and more often than I feel I should. Typically, when it happens, it begins around the last 1/3 of the cigar. What are other possible contributing factors to this phenomenon?
Absolutely correct, an underfilled cigar will burn too hot. The other element that could cause a cigar to burn too hot/fast would be that the cigar is not properly humidified and the tobacco is drier than it should be.
@@holtscigars Got it! I've been keeping a closer eye on my humidor... probably should upgrade it. Thank you, my friend.
I am surprised you haven't done a Top 5 Cuban Cigars, there are so many premium cigars in the cuban market, Cohiba, Partagás, Montecristo, H. Upmann, Hoyo de Monterrey, Trinidad, Bolívar, Por Larragaña, Vegueros, San Cristóbal, Romeo y Julieta.
You cannot buy Cuban cigars in the U.S.. So why bother doing a review on something that no one can get.
@@jeffherdz you know there are other countries besides the U.S right?
@@Adamskja USA consumes more cigars than the rest of the entire world combined. So… are there really other countries?
@@Adamskja 195 countries to be exact. What's your point ?
@@jeffherdz listen, Cuban Cigars were the best, the cuban seed was the base of foundation of literally all the other Famous cigar's Brands, Dominican, Honduras, Nicaragua, so just out of respect, they deserve a vídeo. There are levels in this game and Cuba was the Boss for many years, till communism.
If you want to taste a manufacturer. Smoke a lancero! 👌👌
trump 2024 my recent order from holts was amazing... beach time well spent with cigars from HOLTS!!
Do you have a smoking lounge in your retail store?
Yes we do 👊
@@holtscigars sweet! deciding on visit your store 👍
Already waiting on the next long ash comp video
Fach needs to ease up next time.
I would bet money that Mazz is hip to his tricks now and the Kid Gloves will be off and ready for battle . Ya think ?@@mcribs7811
Same
now that's a fine fine gentlemen right there❤
I've yet to smoke a bad tasting or poorly constructed MF cigar.
This is false. As a regular buyer from HC (multiple locations), I can 100% confirm they do not sell fake cigars. This packaging is enforced by the Canadian government. If you do the research, youll find its illegal for a tobacconist to sell you the pack in its original state
