I absolutely love Holt’s, always stop in when I’m in Philly. The Perdomo 30th is top 5 for me and guys, this is by far the best review video I have ever seen. Fabulous work here - unmatched anywhere! i usually pair an Islay Scotch with my cigars, sometimes a bourbon and sometimes a rye. Being a Lagavulin, Laphroaig, Ardbeg and Port Charlotte single malt fan, i can tell you that the Compass Box Blends are phenomenal and to anyone that shies away from blends, give them a try - and Blue and Green Label take a back seat to no single malts either!
Nick is definitely down to earth. Meet him last year at Holt's was a honor love his cigars havent had a bad one yet. I have to try the 30th conn, already had maduro and sungrown all great cigars. Thx
You both have a great palate for cigars and Scotch, very impressive . As a lover of integrity single Malts, Compass Box make some exceptional blends, non chill filtered and natural colour.
Finally!!!! This is the one i have been waiting for. My fave out of the 3 is the shade grown. But Maduro is ELITE. Also Sun Grown too. All have their place with me. Cheers!
Perdomo is not my favorite brand (though it is a great brand for sure), but Nick Perdomo himself is one of my favorite people in the industry. Guy exudes class.
Same here, the only Perdomo I like is Lot 23 and 20th Anniversary so the only ones I smoke. but no doubt Nick is himself a great down to earth guy. and that makes someone buy his cigars.
Just finished the 30th Anniversary Maduro and it's definitely one of the best I've had in a while. The first third was spice and pepper, but settled down and literally right in the middle of the cigar, it came in with that POP that you mention sometimes. First time I've experienced that. The rest of the cigar was super sweet and chocolatey. Great stick!!!
Perdomo cigars are top shelf. From their Connecticuts to Sun Grown Habano wrappers and Maduros, they're just outstanding smokes bursting with flavor and a thick velvety smoothness. And yes the Perdomo family are all class. Their story is one that epitomizes the American dream.
I'm finally get my hands on those in July. I live in Ukraine but am bugging out in July. Headed for Tampa. Can't get those here. Can't get any here since the war started.
Perdomos are phenomenal! Believe it or not the Perdomo 30th anniversary Connecticut was my very first cigar. I sat out on the deck with a glass of bourbon and my son. It was a great evening. Who knew cigars, bourbon and family could be such a great combination! Thank you for your videos.
Can't wait to get these! Alot of shops aren't stocking Perdomo out here for some reason. But no 30th yet. I Love that family they are so awesome! I'm a for life fan of this brand.
The 30th Anniversary was only released to some of their top retailers in the country initially but should slowly roll out to others. You know where you can always find it 😉
You two gentlemen look sharp! Love your attire! I usually don't smoke Perdomos much, but I'm definitely going to check them out. Thanks for another entertaining and informative video!
Thank you fellas for another terrific story and review!! Always watch your new videos first thing in the day. P.S. Look who else is wearing fancy pants socks now!!! 🤣😂
Gentlemen this video was outstanding. I never heard of Compass box before but based on your explanation of it I now must try it. I am currently smoking the 30th Anniversary Mafro church hillm. It is e excellent. I sm pairing it with a small batch Bourbon from Local Compant called Silverback and it pairs very well. Thank you for your videos. Keep up the great work.
Great video as usual! Smoked the maduro epicure 30th anniversary. Sweet wrapper. Beginning of the cigar is black pepper spicy, almond nutty and rich smoke. Then it mellows out with mild spice, nuttiness and oak. Scotch would be great with this but I smoked it at noon so coffee was the choice.
I was able to smoke and gift one of the sungrown to a friend of mine. I had already smoked a tatuaje skinny chuck, and a west tampa red label that day and this stick capped the evening.
Nice review. If you like unique pairings, grab a bottle of balcones cataleja while you can. It’s a very complex single malt from Texas that is outstanding. It pairs well with a lot of cigars.
Buying a flight of Perdomo right now! Blind tasting is the best, I would put my money on 10 out of 10 people will not be able to tell if it is a blended or single malt. Like Mazz says, it only matters if it tastes good.
Mazz and Facc, Another great video. Why do I need "roku" ? Anyway, Compass Box is the brainchild of John Glaser who upended the scotch whisky world about 15 or so years ago and it has never been the same, but BETTER ! All of their whiskys' are not blended Scotch but rather blended malts ( for the purist ) and never cheap but always enjoyable. Keep up the good work and best regards and nazdrowie from the Big Sky Country ! JZ
I just smoked the 30th Anniversary Maduro Gordo. Such a great blend. I have said this for over twenty years, I have never had a bad Perdomo!
So far, I've only tried the 10th Anniversary Champagne from Perdomo, but I'd like to try other cigars from them.

Much appreciated, David! Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing 👊
Ardbeg oogy was the bottle I bought for my graduation. I still have some left, any cigar recommendations for a pairing?

Gonna have to look for those at my local brick and mortar store (Habana House South in Austin) they keep Perdomo well stocked!

Perdomo is my top shelf cigar. I agree with everything you said and more. The 30th is fantastic. A outstanding cigar and an excellent price.
Waiting for 30th Anni to be available in Europe. I like their Sungrown cigars.

Amazing company with great blends and excellent consistency in construction.
Good Evening 😊 Thanks for sharing 👏🏼 Beautiful Cigar 😍 Thanks for the chat and having a smoke with me 🌬💨💨 Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Perdomo is an absolutely amazing cigar. I personally love the LOT 23 MADURO. Kudos to Mazz
Perdomo is not my favorite brand (though it is a great brand for sure), but Nick Perdomo himself is one of my favorite people in the industry. Guy exudes class.
I feel the same way. The only Perdomo I’ve ever had was the 11th Anniversary…on the other hand Nick is a great guy.

Perdomos are great and not that expensive, they’re all rolled to an incredibly high standard of quality
The Day You Have Carlos Fuente, I would cancel my schedule to watch full Vid.
I'll second that vote!

A great cigar to have as your first! Cigars and bourbon are awesome, but what makes them unforgettable is who you share them with 😉

I recently found an old tupperware with 4 old Perdomo Fresco torpedoes sitting at 62%rh for at least 5 or 6 years!.. should I, or might I choke?😂
Give em hell. Why not?

Can’t go wrong with the 10th Anniversary Sun Grown!
Can you do a review of the Macanudo Emissary? I really enjoyed it.
Smoking the Decade right now!

this is a very good cigar!
Havent been able to get any yet. Just bought a 20th maduro. Love those
Can’t go wrong 🔥
Compass Box has such great releases.
💯
Knocked it out the park again fellas....
Great review....
🙏
How so this different than the Perdomo Estate Selección Vintage ESV? How do they compare?
it’s so hard to top this blend. Must be a lot of work trying to always make something better.
Mazz you have to try Mayflower cigars
Does anybody know if Nick Perdomo smokes any other scars besides his own? The Perdomo line is my go to for cigars, but I love plenty of others.
Yes, he does.
Can you recommend and creamy nutty cigar with no spice?
Ashton Classic 🔥
@@holtscigars thank you 🤙
30th is great complex but too much for me
Have you tried the Connecticut?
@@holtscigars sungrown and maduro
Give the Connecticut a try, it is the mildest of the three wrappers!
When is the davidoff maudro making an appearance? :)
I like rocky patel sun grown
Your website isn’t working for me. Just checking to see if it’s down.
Give it another shot
Prodomo is the only brand I smoke
And I like rocky patel 92 decade
Perdomo = quality
like how Nick take about cigar and steak😂
"You know"
👍
Nice pairing Gents 🥃
These missed the mark for me. Lot 23 blends especially the CT smoked better for me. Just my opinion but really disappointed.
