Majority lines u will find at least one flanker Thts better. Ocean edp his grown on me a lot. I layer the edp with the edt and it smells so damn good ✌🏻
I’ve been wearing Le Male for years. I still pull it out once in a while. However, the new Elixir was love at first sniff.
Great list! I would also add Spice Bomb. I think pretty much all of the flankers improve on the original. But you could go on for days. Code, Sauvage, Eros, Invictus. All of those lines had iconic originals that were surpassed by later releases.
Thanks for sharing! Yeah I think there are more flankers being better than originals than the other way around. There are quite a few originals though that I would go for over their newer flankers 😊

RR! We meet again - I just purchased Bad Boy : Cobalt. This was an AMAZING find for me...such a refreshing blue fragrance! It reminds me of the time of when I found YSL Y the original EDP, when I only knew about Eros and Sauvage previously. Such a great feeling!
I had just purchased the fragrance a few days before this video came out. I love it so much! We truly do have similar taste - it has been consistent over time now which our favorites are lolol
Cobalt is such a good one! I hope they release an intense version of (will probably not happen though). Would love to see a version that's more powerful and that pushes it's fruity sweetness and that truffle accord even more. 😊 Thanks for sharing btw 😁🙏
Bleu Electrique has been discontinued now, sadly. Just picked up a bottle myself. Paid over the odds for it but it is what it is.
I think that since all the JPG frags are so different… That having all three of the scents mentioned in this video, makes complete sense.
They are all amazing in their own way, even the OG, which I get HUGE compliments from, even more than the Le Parfum
Btw I think you should have mentioned Bad Boy le parfum
It is a worthy flanker on the same level as Cobalt and Extreme.

And my most unpopular opionion is i like allure homme sport cologne( the clear bottle) better than any of the allure homme sport line.

I love Bad Boy Parfum. I find it unique and a little different. Don’t get me wrong, I have all the BB line (no special editions though) and I love them all. But I do enjoy the Parfum the most 👍🏻👍🏻
I agree with YSL Bleu Electrique 💙, also I know that I don't have to tell you, but Azzaro The Most Wanted is better than the original, Scandal LeParfum and Prada Lhomme Intense!
The best Davidoff Cool Water is Street Fighter Edition/Aquaman Edition. The best Givenchy Gentleman is Boisee.
I have Gisada Ambassador Intense and it smells amazing!!!

I have both.
Ambassador intense only smells diferent from the original on the first 15m.
Its similar to dior sauvage elixir but the the dry dowm its the same as the ambassador original.
Ambassador original opening and dry down are almost the same all the way.
Wich is the same as the dry down of the ambassador intense
Gisada ambassador intense and the OG are only diferent on the first 20m.
Soon the intense starts to dry down smells the same as the original gisada ambassador.
If u have one don't buy the other one.
Intense its 20m similar to dior sauvage elixir and then the mid and dry down its similar to the original gisada ambassador.
Fruity and sweet from mid to dry down

If Le Male still with BPI formula, nothing beats the OG. With new PUIG formula, of course all the flanker are better
Great list, and I agree that there are many flankers that are better than the originals.
That being said, in many cases for me, it doesn’t make the OG obsolete.
I love CH Bad Boy EDT, ADG EDT, etc. I will always have them in my collection. :)
a flanker being better does not necessarily make the original obsolete. Depends of course on which fragrance haha 😉 different scents bring different nuances, vibes and all that.

couldnt decide what to get extreme or cobalt on black friday, so i made my decision on cobalt but i sometimes regret it. i wish cobalt lasted more on me

Hi! Those are harder to find because crewneck t-shirts are so much more common. I usually look through the collections of a lot of brands every season to find which ones exist and buy the good ones. Some brands don't have them at all though.
I usually find them at asos, Zara, H&M but I do think it's worth checking what different brands have for each season since sometimes a single great looking piece might pop somewhere.
I also find it's very seasonal so it's easier to find them spring/summer than fall/winter. 😊

ADG Absolu officially discontinued. Profondo is next. Armani doing Armani things.

Is there an original scent you prefer over the flankers? I am having a hard time thinking of an original i prefer. The original ADG is what got me into fragrances but I have to agree that I love all this flankers better and haven't owned the bottle in over a decade
I did a shorts video about some.. Thinking of doing a full video about original men's fragrances I prefer over their flankers.
Tom Ford Ombre Leather is one I prefer over the newer parfum. I also like Parfums de Marly Layton over Layton Exclusif (Exclusif is an awesome scent though.)
I do think there are more flankers I prefer over originals than vice versa though 😊
Which is your favorite Acqua di gio flanker?
@@rottenrebels Good call out. I don't own those two but I've sampled them and I agree. I love ADG Absolu a lot. Especially because it's kind of the underdog. So many people give it a hard time for being different from the line but it's so good. I equally love the Parfum. Similar to Profumo but smoother. Those are the top two for me from the line.

I heard the same thing from another subscriber 😭 Sad to see that thing go as it's a great scent and the only more sweet take on Acqua di Gio. Hope they replace it with something that goes in the same direction. You prefer any of the Acqua di gio flankers over the original?
