Got Propane 22R Propane Kit

Gotpropane.com 22r propane kit on an engine test stand. I wanted everyone to see how simple and clean these can be. One vacuum line for the vacuum advance, the rest can go away!

Damn, you could run a 22R out of oil and it'd still run. Wouldn't sound good, but it'd run.

Jake Tow I did that once after the rebuild lol. Oil drain plug fell out and it seized up. Cooled off and started right up to drive onto a trailer with no oil. Has had a wrist pin knock ever since but still drove it for many many miles like that.

I'm planning to get this kit for my 22R soon. Can run a bigger cam, higher compression, and more timing in addition to the ability to run at any angle on the trails.

I had my 460 with 10.6 compression running on propane an i had no valve rattle but this 8 gallon tank only lasted about 31 miles an its out.

I’m having problems with my kit it’s not idling right I’ll get it to idle ok then hit the throttle a few times and it will change Iv been chasing my butt with this thing.
Can a big cam do this? I have a stage 3 LC cam 20r head 22r block

I recently picked up a 22RE that has a conversion kit on it for propane possibly some home brew, My question is there seems to be like a vacuum line on each regulator Is that correct? One of the vacuum lines is currently going to the PCV value and I noticed they have a bolt in the other vent towards the front of the value cover, when I remove the bolt when running theirs so much crankcase pressure it stalls out, I'm thinking this should be like that

You won't have fuel starvation at extreme angles

It's clean and you can go way longer on oil changes there's lots of other benefits.

depending where you live, clean air tags. Can let the vehicle sit for however long and not care. great for all angles, no spilling. Lighter. Much cleaner burn. None of that wild emissions stuff hanging off everything. If I can troubleshoot it, then that's a huge win also.

Yes, I have it in my truck. Bypassing the EFI, straight to the turbo.
