Without a doubt one of the most talented bands to fly under the radar for literally decades
.
My thoughts exactly..
Yeah Traffic never gets the love they deserve. Widespread does it better 🎉
Top Top!! Best Version of This Song I've Ever Heard!! ❤ Bigg Upps Widespread Panic!! There's one note in there takes me to the Moon!!
I hope I get to see this live one day!! Bigg Fan!! ❤️ ❤❤
this is a fanfuckingtastic version of this topshelf song kudos kudos thank you
I'm coming tonight..yah!! Living my dream with Widespread Panic!! Finally live and direct!! Bigg Upps to one of the greatest bands of all times!! St.Louis here I come ❤❤
first time hearing this band sorry it took so long they sound great
Glad to have you with us 👍👍👍
What a jam! Traffic was a band to be reckoned with. These guys did them proud.
That rug really ties the sound together!
See my comment above
It really does though ❤🔥
Having grown up with Traffic in my youth......all I can is WOW
The ferocious rain that fell for practically the whole panic set was epic indeed. I was wearing commercial grade rain wear like you see on "The Deadliest Catch" and I still got soaked. This song was the highlight of a truly great set. Bill Evans is definitely a real master on the saxophone. Despite what were considerably less than good conditions, widespread panic put on their game faces and truly knocked it out of the park on that memorable night. Thanks guys!
K Maher this panic show was the best thing of the whole festival! Low spark, blue Indian I was flyingggggggg!! Going to Milwaukee this fall first time I’ve seen panic since Coney Island
I remember being at a Dead show at Alpine Valley in a heavy downpour - thank God it was a warm summer night - but still, folks had to help each other out of the "parking lot" - a grass field that was now pure mud. It was like pushing people's cars out of a snowstorm. Ah, good times. Bet that is still one hell of a memory for you!
Whenever I thought I was entering a new relationship with a lady one of the first things I always asked was "So, in the way back times were you cool enough to listen to Traffic?"
I married 1 that answered yes. I let quite a few "no's" pass right on by.
Single again now, loving the Panic but Capaldi, Winwood & Mason were simply magic.
I met Dave Mason after a show once long ago. That memory still brings goosebumps & tears.
Apparently you chose the incorrect compass haha
Traffic was the ultimate trendsetter group
I played this traffic record when I was a Kid back in 1976 it never gets old..
throw jb and those horns in the mix -magic!
I'm only 37 this is one of my favorite songs so 37 is old then I'm f****** old
But I'm also a very young old hippie
But he was also very young old hippie when he wrote the song at 17 years old
Traffic wouldn't have been traffic without Stevie
OMG, LIVE? LAST YEAR? thank you ever so much for this presentation of low spark of high heeled boys, im getting chill bumps listening to this, high school, the lyrics, 40 years ago,wow
I love the give and take between the sax and the keyboard.
When the mountain jam festival was going it was my favorite.not a huge crowd and awesome bands and people
Widespread's music just slowly sucks you right in. Perfect.
Great stuff. Glad to discover these guys.
Amazing cover - so glad this came up on my feed!
God I miss Chris Wood.
Traffic was/is musical beauty.

What a great groove of a band. They have a wonderful feel for covers, without the noodling so often resorted to by "can I say it".... Grateful Dead.... in their final years.
John, I call them the best cover band in Rock & Roll history. Their covers are often better than the originals. There's also dozens of amazing collaborations from playing festivals over the years. The ones with John Fogerty are awesome.
Really Epic Carpeting
Woooooohooooooo ✨
love it
Can I just say...? The rain was coming down in *sheets*, it was insane (check out 14:30 or so!)... I fell in love with Panic that night...
even with all the rain, what a magical night this was. i was soaked to the core but didnt care at all the music amazing
Holy she-ite was it pouring. At that point you just give up trying to stay dry. It's dancin in the rain, amen.
My favorite traffic’s number and very well performed here..

Nice job. it's a cover not a replica. I enjoyed it.
See next comment. I'm checking out this bands rendition. Awesome.
If you see something that looks like a STAR shooting up out of the ground----------------
This is a very good cover. It is missing the parking meter by Traffic Percussionist Rebop Kwaku Baah
Exquisites'
WSP brought me here!
Always ! Then sometimes I remember that other bands are out there.
Danny Louis sitting in on keyboards!
JB has my favorite voice on the scene right now
Buena versión de este clásico, aunque lógicamente hecho en falta la maravillosa voz de Winwod,
if you know this song your old!!!
How about "Pearly Queen"/"Feelin Alright".
One Of my favorite bands of all times.
Wonder how many full t-shirts were sporting high beams in this rain?
I"d be there but Mere has my passport...
I use to get high to this song back in the day
JB with his backwards cap on. You already know no games are to be played when that happens!!!!
wsmfp
Dalton Vradenburg that means shits about to get real.
@@MrDrewderden LMFAO! I concur sir.
Is that Winwood hiding back there on keyboards?

If it was he would probably be delivering the vocals as well.
Haven't listened to this in years, what a mistake.
Whose on sax and keys? By the way it’s super I’ll be in NYC or Milwaukee for my 1st show At 59 and have followed The Dead from 1977 at 14 at Barton Hall till Soldier Field in 92 at 30 then as they say [ life happened ] I gave up the leather tramp life [ and it was so righteous and mind blowing] and still explored all kind of music Widespread Panic from early 90s till today is the one band I’m dying to see Thanks for the post Great Job🍄
bill evans of miles and mclaughlin fame...
Too bad this awesome video was interrupted by some advertising in the middle.
Ublock origin, install this on Chrome and you will not be rudely interrupted again
bill evans of miles and mclaughlin fame on saxes..
Whose on sax?
Bill Evans

Hey neighbor,
Peace from Yankee Springs!
✌💀👍
Whats on 2nd
Just stretch yourself out and wait for the catch....
You just can't escape from the sound. . .
And you don't want to, anyway, so it's all good.
Could bring up the congas a bit though.
The best live version of this tune is on the "Traffic On The Road" album, for this version is a little weak, but that's just my opinion.
Great live album

@@WinwoodCompletist nice, thanks
Tempo feels slower.
It will vary in each show, going with the flow…..Sorry I thought it was nicer that “SHHH” just listen.

✌💀👍🧠🌌♾
This was great until the ads came on...wtf?
Means Fk YT and Susi!
Not bad at all.Definitly better than Ricky lee Jones crappy version but they need to give that sax a break and have a better piano solo.I know everbodies a critic right.
+Brian Jones I agree
+Brian Jones That's Bill Evans on sax. He was only a guest for two songs, so it makes sense that they let him take the spotlight.
Robert Noble O' Really he was just a guest that's funny
I do agree with you though.
Dog Jojo one mo time !
Not good
Awful!
Top Top!! Best Version of This Song I've Ever Heard!! ❤ Bigg Upps Widespread Panic!! There's one note in there takes me to the Moon!!
