Michael, thanks for this video. I hate Logitech. I hate that you felt you needed to make this video. And I hate that I needed you to make this video. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the information. Have been seeking this type of help since 2015. The Saitek panels were purchased in 2015, just before the name change to Logitech. Your demo used XSaitekpanels version 3.08 where as the version option I was given was 3.09. Followed your instructions of creating the plugin. When X-Plane started to load the radio panel showed version 3.09 compared with 3.08 as indicated in your presentation However when XP12 fully loaded with an aircraft on the tarmac the Radio panel went blank. Any thoughts on where I faulted
Sometimes you have to make an input on the panel by turning the selector switch. Also, make sure the power is on the in the plane (battery switch, avionics switch).
@@xforcepc the three Flight panels were/are running/loaded. Having restarted X-Plane, the radio panel has now decided to decided to display radio frequencies. Need to check on the workings of the multi Panel Thank you for the help
Can't you also create a X-Plane 11/Resources/Plugins folder on your drive (without having XP11 installed), or does it actually look for the X-Plane11.exe file?
My fps up and down now, no idea why, removed plugins and same thing, been running beta for over a year but never had that issue, now after the latest update is happening, any ideas what can be?
Impossible to know, your computer operating system and installed software is a unique combination and set of circumstances, noone can magically guess what might be causing your framerate to fluctuate. I would go to a message board or Discord or similar place, have available XPlane logs, associated configuration files, etc. Troubleshooting individual problems and can be difficult, just asking someone "Why is my program slow?" is impossible to answer.
As I run Linux, I use the Xsaitekpanels plugin... surely there is some difference in functionality between the two however, for those who would use either/or?
Xsaitekpanels allows you to customize things for third-party planes if you are so inclined. I think they even have some of these third party configs on the Org forums for that people have created and shared. The logitech is not customizable that I know of.
@@xforcepc Nod, thanks... I remember reading about differences in functionality that go a bit deeper than "just getting them to work"... thanks for the info, might be useful for someone else! 👍

Thanks for the video Michael. Can you help me installing this but for Steam versions of X-Plane? Thanks
is there any new or upto date panels besides saiteck panels ?
Thank you for giving a very concise explanation of how to install my plugin.
my Radio panel makes 25 steps when I turn it
Thankyou. Anyone else wonder where he went at the end?
Thank you so much!
Thanks Michael! Another great video! Straight to the point and very informative.
Good morning when relased xp 12.1.0 ?
That is a huge update that will be a while, in my opinion.
That update should be coming soon. Maybe in the next couple of months? I can't wait.
Does anyone have an update on when it'll be available with 12.1.0, is there a way to make it work?
Thanks! I've been wanting this for ages!

Also, check the plugins menu in X-Plane and make sure the plugin is running/loaded.
@@xforcepc Both switches have been on and just checked/confirmed again in a fresh start-up of the simulator.

Thats great, thanks. Be nice to get my panel running again
you are the best man, thanks!!!

I think it's actually looking for a file that x plane puts in the windows folder. I forget the exact location
Thanks for this.

Thank you for this! This will be handy when I make the switch to X-Plane 12, someday.
Dude, don't miss out on X-Plane 12. It's fantastic.
