When he said , "You're a Tremonti fan, aren't you, Luke?" 15:01 , I jumped! My name's Luke, and I had just been up close to the screen, gazing at this Tremonti model!😂
It’s a stunning finish. I have an Agile 7-string from their early days that’s a trans black/smokey purple grey. Looks absolutely killer on the mahogany body! It’s nice to see it catch on with more mainstream guitars. On nice wood it really looks stunning!
@Jack I see you have not seen the PRS Launch video. Namely Custom 24, both Core and SE series, are getting both normal switching model as well a so called 24-08 models with the Anniversary wiring/switching. What is going to miss is Anniversary marking and in case of the SE no special fretboard and no special abalone inlays.
Wood, I had a look at a silver sky back in 2019 When we allowed in shops (where did 2020 go!!!!) and was disappointed; all the knobs were loose and the selector switch felt very cheap, hoping a second look will prove that this was just a one off, it needs to be at the price
I don't think they will go to 5 way switch entirely, Jack. Correct me if I'm wrong but new Custom 24/08 is basically 35th Anniversary model minus the eagle on the headstock. BTW - I still absolutely love the 35th Anniversary I got from you guys just over a week ago. I could swear his guitar sounds better every day
I can't accept the top carve (or near lack thereof) on the S2's. I would rather no flame in the maple, but a proper top carve. I can't imagine running the CNC to the proper carve spec could cost that much more.
I swear my Wood Library case is heavier then my 594 WL 10 Top. On the other side Gibson Custom Shop case of my 63 Special reissue is feather light. Was easy to integrate the magic password while it was true facts. Handling 594 WL in the case is a good workout.
I do love how people without core PRS guitars complain their S2's or silver sky's have gig bags. Literally speaks about how heavy each core is when taking it out then saying how light each core guitar is. I genuinely dislike my core OHSC. Love my silver sky gig bag.
I wish prs would stop making the s2 bodies too thick, make them all as thin as the thin line 594! It's lighter and comfier and sounds better I think lol 😅
Disappointing that a high end, expensive guitar comes in a 'gig-bag' and not a hard-case. I refer to the Silver Sky and especially the limited edition, Lunar Ice.
PRS class CE and S2 range as “working musicians” guitars and hence provide a quality gig bag for ease of transportation. It is a very good gig bag if you have not seen one
@@ronzinale. I prefer hard cases. When I travel to gigs I have transport and gig bags do not offer the same protection for what I want. Fine if you are just going by train or bus and want to take a guitar somewhere. £3,000 merits a hard case.

You sound like you are sick 😷I would Love to have a job doing what you do 👍🤜🤛👏✌I have lots of English Blood in me. I feel sorry for all of them Guitars 🎸 in the Warehouse. I just noticed that there are no back plates anymore. W O O D?
Ah, it's cause it's an S2. All the SE, CE, Silver Sky, and S2' guitars come with a gigbag. I think all the US Made PRS guitars should come with a hardcase. The CE's , the S2's and Silver Skys are US Maryland made and should come with a hardcase in my opinion atleast.
@@LuisMorales-xr1gm But Silver Sky also comes with a gig bag. If John Mayer wanted it, that's a different story. But I don't think it's correct for regular line signature guitars. Usually I just own one gig bag, it's versatile except for odd shaped guitars. If PRS excludes hard cases to keep prices down, users will be happy to keep prices down without a gig bag.
@@LuisMorales-xr1gm CEs, S2s, and Silver Sky are all made in USA, but they come with gig bags. Pretty sure you need to move up to core to get hard cases.
@@paulthorn6437 Hi Paul. Yeah I agree I think we are on the same page .I have a few core models that came with a hard case and I have 1 SE Paul's guitar,, a CE24, a Silver Sky, and an S2 594 Thinline and those four came with a gigbag. I just ordered a PRS Fiore and that also comes with a gigbag. I just feel that at the US Maryland Made price points , they should come with a hardcase, but that's just me.
Your forefathers held the line at Dunkirk and defended the homeland from Nazis. You can lift heavy guitars from a box, just saying. Your a brilliant guitar player and I love your videos. Life’s hard, so embrace the suck.👊
You've got a great guitar shop, and if I were to buy a guitar from your shop, it would definitely be a Gibson. Gibson Guitars are way better than PRS. Why buy an expensive knockoff, when you can buy the real thing? Plus a Gibson will hold its value better than a PRS.
To those mentioning my sniffing, fear not! I’m not ill, just a bit chilly out in the warehouse! - Jack

A Peach Guitars PRS unboxing on a Friday. Nothing gets better than that on RUclips. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I’ve been seeing a lot of guitars coming out with that transparent black. And I can see why, it’s beautiful.

You didn’t mention that the blue, red and black S2 594’s are the thinline version (different location of the switch). No maple cap.
My local shop here in the States has a midnight rose Silver Sky with a maple fretboard. The maple fretboard and neck are perfect. What a guitar!
I have an s2 594 reserved in burnt amber. My second s2 and second PRS as well. The s2 is for the common man who still wants some class.
1:48 24-08 wiring is part of the core line up now for 2021 iirc.

I'm lefty and just bought a charcoal burst SE 24; it's nice to see lefty Wood Library models coming out. Thanks Jack.
Fantastic unboxing Jack, thank you
Last year I bought a black gold 35th Anniversary SE and last week I bought a white Starla SE. Now I feel like I need to collect them all.

Wood. Beautiful works of art.
I have a 2001 custom 22 vintage sunburst with p90’s , good job Jack !
I love the shed....
What do you use that for?
Pretty PRS guitars, can't go wrong with those!
Would love to get locked up in that warehouse.
Is that a purple iris or violet finish on the thumbnail guitar?
Would you tell us, please how many Lunar Ice guitars were allocated to you and/or to instrument shops in the UK
omg, that special looked nice
love the WOOD

That Custom 35th in faded blue is amazing!
Is the strap included in case ?
Thought I picked up a bird shape in the hollow body Wood Library just below the bridge. Your job is like Christmas morning.
I think PRS dyes the finger boards on certain models such as the Silver Sky.

Yes true
PRS leaves Gibson in the dust for quality and consistency....have a Gibson Les Paul Trad...love it but....PRS are waaaay ahead in every department...
