San Martin are absolutely killing it. I love their designs. I can imagine this one being perfect for swimming in the ocean or hotel pool on holiday, then sitting under a tree and smoking a cigar. On holidays, individual minutes don't matter. Just meet friends at on the hour or down to 5 minute intervals. There's always the timing bezel for individual minutes if you really need them. Great watch!
They really are. That's a very good point.
I'm not usually a fan of bronze watches but the combination of titanium and bronze really won me over. Sporty but dressy at the same time. Good stuff here.

hmm it's a little strange for me I don't like the strap the bronze on titanium looks a bit off ,like the shape just make it all titanium and get a decent strap on it great review as always
Perhaps they'll come out with an all titanium version at some point.

Damn. That finishing from the Macro Shots. Phenomenal. Not quite my style (yet). If it was was smaller and in steel, I definitely would like it better. Especially since it seems fairly originalish. Oh and the minute markers. My OCD would scream at me every time I looked at the watch. Thanks for the great review as always!

Baltany have a SS watch with bronze bezel and burgundy dial and it's one of the most beautiful watches I've ever seen. It made them famous
I've checked out a lot of Baltany watches, since I discovered them a while back. But I've not checked out that one though. Is it bronze and titanium?

They have so many good ones coming out at the moment, so that's a tough question. But I'd definitely say that this one is right up there.

Very reminiscent of a nivada dephtmaster or a spinnaker hull.
Nice review of a good looking watch, a little big for me but the lack of minute markers is a deal breaker anyway.

@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Perhaps a glossy dial. I have a couple of PT 5000s and they both work well and are very accurate- just don't buy the movement separately because it costs a bomb. Cheers 🍻!

It's definitely a homage in the true sense of the word, as opposed to the watch worlds tendency to call copies homages 🤙
Nice looking piece, but that logo.... it's an absolute monstrosity and a carbuncle on that clean dial. Haven't been able to bring myself to buy a single piece since its introduction. San Martin please sort this out...
I wasn't sure about the hexagonal logo until I actually saw it in person when I got my first watch with it. But it looks better than you think.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR The logo is just too prominent and the font is something a five year old might conceive. It appears SM forgot to use the same talents from its watchmaking on its logo! It SO needs sorting

What don't you like about the rest of the watch?
A very strange combination of titanium and bronze. It is the first watch I have ever seen like this. Not very beautiful. May be it will take some time to get used to it.
It's definitely an unusual combination.
The only other watch I've seen that mixes titanium and bronze is a Helson, that has a bronze case/bezel, and a titanium case back and crown
