So glad I just found your videos! I have the utmost appreciation for self taught artists, and find your step by step follow along instructions easy to follow. Thank you so much for sharing your talent!
just painted this and loved everything about it -- only uses two brushes!! Uses only a few paint colors!! Has a reference picture!! It was short, but complete!! Has instructions I can print out if I want to paint it with friends later!! A++
I have always admired how people paint. I have stumbled across your tutorials and I am so so pleased at creating art I am proud of. Thank you so much for posting such easy to follow instructions.
We are beginners doing this for date night and it was so fun, you were so easy and fun to follow. Thank you for this! We can’t wait to try more from your channel!!
🥰🙏🏻 Thank you so much for your hard work and mostly, for sharing your talent!! I am bed bound and have been pretty depressed until I found your Channel!! I'm loving your Channel!!! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!! ✨✨👋🏻😌👍🏻✨✨
Curious what type of paint you are using? I know acrylic but different brands use different names. Or should I just try for white, black, medium and dark blue and a dark green? Thanks so much!
Hi, I'm using Brickrylics from Dick Blick, but yes, you could use any black or white, but as for the others... I would go with a green that has a little brown in it, like an earthy tone green, and the blues, you want one that leans towards purple (ultramarine blue is pretty standard across brands) and the other blue should lean towards teal (cobalt or phthalo blue are also pretty standard across brands). Hope this helps. Have fun painting! ~Michelle
It's so easy I watched the video and then did it while my sister was watching tv. unfortunately I live with a negative nancy so her only comment was that my trees looked like bottle brushes and completely missed just how much fun I was having
Hi Linda, For these videos I'm using a thin student grade paint from Blick Materials called Blickrylics. It's not the best pigment, but I love to layer with it and I like how it spreads. I sell small sample sizes of it on my website below if you want to try it before you buy the big bottles. Have fun painting! berkshirepaintandsip.squarespace.com/paint-supplies
Hi Karen, For these videos I'm using a thin bodied student grade paint from Blick Materials called Blickrylics. They don't have the best pigment, but I like the consistency for layering and blending affects. I sell small sample sizes on my website (link below) if you want to try them before you buy the larger bottles. Hi Andrew.... lol... there is a shooting star in the sky that I paint near the end of the video. Take Care, Michelle

When you say primed... is the board painted white? Or no?
Hi Marina, The canvas I use for these videos comes pre-primed from the manufacturer. Yes, it is white on the primed side. Have fun painting!
Love this one too.

Are you using a liquid flow paint? I use liquitex Basics. It doesn't seem to flow as easily as yours.

I would like to know what kind of paint you use? The paint I have is much too thick.
