    I’m so happy to have found you!! I’ve been looking for an artist who truly gave step by step instructions. So many title their videos “step by step” “easy” “beginners” but they aren’t step by step. They just paint and don’t even talk you through it. I know this puts a lot of extra work on you, but I want you to know how much I appreciate it. 💕

    Hello Michelle, I like your videos because they are done step by step and in great detail. Do you offer DVDs of the videos? I was hoping, because of these detailed painting guidance. that my 85 year old mother could create these paintings. Unfortunately, she is very computer illiterate and would never go to RUclips to view them. As winter approaches, I think painting would be better to stimulate her mind than watching TV. Thank you Karen

    Hi again Michelle. I just finished painting your male and female on the birdhouse with the snow. It went well. But the birds is a lot smaller than on here. Ok sad story, we have a lot of cardinals this time of year. And yes, one hit it window. I brought him in and put him in a basket. Thinking if he will die at least it will be warmer for him and better if he’s trying to recover. But alas he died. So I have had a great closeup of how the male cardinal looks. Michelle, do you add water in your brush before dipping into the paint. To make it smoother on the canvas?

    • @michellethepainter.
      @michellethepainter.  3 года назад

      HI Gwen, I'm sorry that the bird did not make it. It was nice of you to give it comfort in it's final moments. No, I do not add water to my brush, unless I tell you I do during the step. However, for these tutorials I'm using a thin bodied student grade paint from Blick Materials called Blicrylics. It doesn't have the best pigment, but I like the consistency for blending and layering affects. I sell small sample sizes of it on my website (link below) if you want to try it before you buy the larger bottles. Have fun painting, Michelle berkshirepaintandsip.squarespace.com/paint-supplies
