Is your snare three zones? With three separate sounds? Do you have different drum head for the floor tom From The Snare head question mark and do you leave your snares connected just as they are in an acoustic snare or do you turn them off or remove?
With Sensory Percussion I can have up to 10 zones on a single drum 😎 On the floor tom I have the Evans db1 and on the snare db0. The db1 gives the feel of a tom and the other is more bouncy
Thank you! My setup consists of a kick and 2 snares with mesh heads, using the Evans Hybrid Sensory Percussion system on them with sensors and their software. Other than that I have a Roland SPD-SX PRO and Meinl cymbals. Is this what you were interested in?
I these kind of skill will be demanded by bands and projects taking their music to stages, so it’s a good idea to be up to date as a drummer. I believe being a hybrid drummer will be an advantage soon 🙌🙌
