Scanlan has come such a long way. I'm really proud of him. Also, Fun fact. The kids playing with guns are voiced by Laura Bailey and her son Ronin. So with Grog you have the whole family in the scene, father, mother and son.
I love how seamlessly the term Emprex was introduced. I honesly missed it on first listen (only saw it after seeing reactions), but I already knew J'mon used they/them pronouns from the campaign, and am so happy with how they animated them.
Love hearing that song. If you have watched Campaign 2, you will know who the Ruby of the Sea is. I can't wait to see Mighty Nein animated series when it comes out. And it's fun to see Marquet while going through Campaign 3.
The show Ashley was working on while they were playing the Briarwood stuff was Blindspot. Well worth a watch if you're into modern mystery/crime drama.
There are also a couple of references to Pike and CR with Ashley's character. She also uses a mug in the show that was early CR merch with pixel art of the 8 characters. Yes, early enough that it featured 8 characters.
The Vestiges are magic items that level up. for example, you can have 2 swords with the same enchantment. like fire damage. but a Vestige will eventually level up to add different types of damage or resistances. while the non Vestige will only have the original.
5:00 "It's almost like Tech" If I was arming a City Guard in a D&D setting, I'd make every piece of their Uniform/Armor have 1 charge of dispell magic. A sort of magical "Wuts all this then?" ability to investigate and do their jobs.
Given that "The Transformation" was given as an equivalent sentence to execution, I don't think those transformative headbands come off easily… Or, if they do, that it wouldn't reverse the transformation.
Did anyone else find it a bit strange that the Emprex pardoned them of all the crimes just because they found out Rippley's the one who did it, even though Vox Machina still *also* confessed to *intending* to steal the vestiges anyway? Like, sure, they didn't rob them and kill their friend, but they were still *going* to rob them on behalf of a dragon and haven't actually explained to them why in a way that makes sense, so why did they get pardoned and suddenly entrusted with the location of the real vestige? Did they just skip over the Emprex finding out what Vox Machina actually wanted with it?
a few fun facts and spoiler free comparisons to the campaing (i know other people probably have already mention it on the comments but i want to put it all in one place): 1. the whole Ank'Harel story line is prety similar from the campaing with the main difference is that they omitting a comedy subplot whit Scanland and some drogue dealers (even if they dont use it in the the show i recommend you look it up is hilarius) 2. i dont think this is an spoiler but just tu clarify, Cabal ruins abilitys are represented in the show with a cosmic smoke different from the black smoke from Orthax, so the teleportation is related to the vestege. 3. i imagine a lot of people have point out by now but one of the kids is voice by Laura Bailey (VA of Vex) her son Ronin and well Grog is voice by Travis Willingham (husband of Laura Bailey) which mean the whole family is in that one scene. but another fun fact is that Ronin is super fun of the story and have created his own Dragon, and when they where recording he only wants to play his dragon characters, son his paren record a whole scene about that dragon so that whe later read his real lines. 4. Im glad you guy get the Phoenix Wright, which has a double meaning in the fact that Sam Reagel (the VA of Scanland) is the VA of Phoenix in the english dub of most of the games. I think that the more importants or at least the ones i remember that wont spoil the rest of the season, if i get any detail wrong or forgett one pleas continue this comment, i just want the boys and the audience that hasnt watch the campaing to get some extra fun details

The "Objection!" moment is so funny 😂even more because Sam Riegel who voices Scanlans also voices Phoenix Wright :D
That had me cracking up, wasn’t expecting the reference lol
There was a fun reference in the campaign between Scanlan and Tiberius because Orion voiced Apollo Justice
I think the armor still had power but not a vestige level of power.
Fun fact: One of the kids that Grog is talking to is played by Ronin, Travis Willingham (Grog), and Laura Bailey's (Vex) son.

Scanlan's character development in this show is amazing. And Pike saying AH MY TIT is so funny!
I really like how competent the guards are in this episode since, in most shows, guards are very incompetent against the main characters.
Can't wait to see more shenanigans with guards of vasselhiem
Ank'Harel is such a gorgeous setting! Scanlan's subplot is a lot more prominent in this season. So glad he came in just in the nick of time.

That cracked me up, I shouldn’t have been surprised at the C2 Easter egg but it got me.

Episode 2 is here can not wait for episode 3
11:30 anyone else notice the shadow of J'mon Sa Ord looks like wings flapping? Such a cool lighting effect!
It is called a Volcanic Pistol. Keep in mind that Ripley does not have her right hand.
Jake - Potato God confirmed C-Popper
Orthax can consume the souls of anyone who is killed by one of those pepperbox pistols, much like the one that Percy built initially.

Or, if they do, that it wouldn't reverse the transformation.
Even if it is reversible, what state is the person inside like afterwards? Like, are they conscious in there? You'd hope not.
Can’t wait to you guys reaction to the next episode
Jmon S'ord is a big dragon with a little dragon.

29:45 - One of the kids is played by Travis Wilingham and Laura Bailey’s son, Rowan. 😊
