Very interesting seeing inside Naze tower. I had heard of it but not seen it. I agree about the rabbit & Hare artwork. Love it. The staircase looked awesome and was deffo original. From the top just stunning views 360. Great share mate. Good to see Yhana enjoying it. Take good care both. ATB 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️. Watto.
Amazing tower. I love how there are so many structures there that date back from so long ago. Love the stone construction and architecture. Nice museum in the stair tower on your way up. Beautiful works of art. I see in the display similar items that you have been finding on your adventures. Really neat. Oh wow, that view from the top is amazing. Scary high too. Thanks for sharing your tour here. Have s great day.
I agree, I love rabbits and hare’s, have done since I first saw watership down as a boy. I have since read the book many times and have more then one copy lol 😆 it was a great location too
Good afternoon Stephen, Yhana 😊 thanks for another informative and interesting video, some fab footage along the way too! What an amazing building and bucket loads of history too! Fantastic, so many fab little details 👏 have a great weekend, try not to melt, Ceri and Kat ❤️ 👍 ☕️ 🧭
An interesting building in its own right but the use of the floors for such interesting artefacts and art works make this look an attractive destination.
I totally agree, it makes for a wonderful space for local artists and a little museum too 😊 I like the fact that everything you see is either locally found artefacts 😊 the art on display and sale was very lovely 😊
A great tower filled with history. I love the crafts. Great museum with some amazing artefacts. Awesome views from the top of the tower. Thank you for taking us along Stephen and Yhana, have a great week. 👍🏽🙏🏽❤️🤗
Thank you buddy, this tower is right above the area we fossil hunted, although it’s sadly at risk of tumbling into the ocean if the erosion of the cliffs continue 😞 maybe in 100 years or less, it could be lost, catch up soon buddy
This is an extremely valuable octagonal navigation tower due to its size, structure and important historical role. Thanks for the info about this tower. 👍
What a gorgeous view! I love the fact its not only a historical site and museum but that they give you the option to buy art etc. as well. Not just to decorate the place. Very cool, thanks for the tour ~ Tracee
Well that looks a mighty tower! Wow! 111 steps, quite a climb, but so totally worth the climb and effort for those beautiful views. Even more interesting that it was used as a lookout during WW1 And 2. I love what they have done with the tower, enabling it as a art museum too, really cute! This was such a great video to chill out too on a Saturday evening, thank you both! 💕🤘
That tower is a treasure trove as well as a historic building. I thought it a lovely detail knowing it was once a tearooms as well. There is still so much to learn from our past. Lovely share Stephen. 👍 🙏 🇳🇿 🙋♀️ 🇳🇱
Oh my what a amazing historical landmark. Seeing what you thought was petrified wood in the case was so interesting and so nice for yous to see and learn from ! The view from up above is stunning :) So enjoyed the tour. Thanks for taking us along😊👍
Thank you Cheryl, it’s a shame I tumbled that old bone though lol 😆 I will be looking out for those old whale bones the next time I’m fossil hunting along this coast 😊 catch up soon
We enjoyed your climbing and tour of the Naze Tower, Stephen and Yhana. Loved hearing about some of it's history and seeing the works of art. (Seems to be a "hare" theme.) We also enjoyed seeing the fossil display. Lovely tower and it wonderful it's being preserved this way for all to enjoy. The moral here is, not to try sailing in a hat! Stunning views from the top. Thanks so much for bringing us along.
I first thought the leaning tower of pisa lol. Just kidding. I love such old historical buildings. Nice exhibition. well done, thank you. Greetings Peter 🤠👍🇩🇪
It was certainly worth a hike, for the views and also for a little family connection too 😊 my 5th great-grandfather was a coastguard and he used this tower during his lifetime 😊 it was a pleasure to visit the site 😊 hope all well with you both, hope that wonderful little boat of yours is coming together too 😊❤️ catch up soon
What a neat tower. Love how it has been repurposed. Looks like they are doing a great job keeping it in good shape. What a view. Just love all those spiral stairs. The art is so neat, it would be harrd not buying something.
Hi and thanks, Stephen and Yhana - History and Adventure Hunters for sharing. It's such an impressive octagonal tower with lots of history as a navigation tower. Thank you for sharing your personal story about your grandfather stationed at this tower as a lifeguard. I was amazed by countless arts and artifacts found nearby. I can imagine how much your niece was excited about it. It's a very educational and personal(for you) visit. Well done and keep coming. 🙋♀🛶
Thank you so much for the lovely comment 😉😊 I think Yhana has learnt a lot about our family history in the last couple of years 😊 hopefully she will remember some of it when she’s older too 😊😉
Great explore, nice of you to visit this Naze Tower, I love the high viewing point from the tower, but I really hate climbing the circular staircase, luckily this trip was you doing the climbing. 😄 Thank you for this wonderful trip 👍🙏🏻 14:17
Really enjoyed watching your lovely video ☺. Love the tower. Really hope you are well and having a great Friday 👍. Many thanks from Chris and Jane 👍 ☺ ❤
Very cool getting to explore the tower and even have lunch at the base! I loved seeing all the art especially those paintings - I quite liked that gull as well but the hares are quite charming as well. I enjoyed seeing the surrounding area - it's beautiful.
Hi Stephen. This is a nice historical tower. Loved seeing the beautiful artwork. It’s great that it’s still standing and that people can climb it. We have one very similar here in Queenston Heights with a spiral staircase. Very nice tour. 👍😊🇨🇦
