Yeah those are some good looking lil subs and I feel you on the aspect of a glass enclosure with some lights in the box. Car audio is pretty good hobby if you try to not get caught up in beating everybody. Years ago I had a sherwood 240 amp in 82 nissan stanza hatchback with Kenwood coaxial in the doors and Kenwood 5x7 in the rear with a box with 2 ten inch Pyle woofers and that car banged. In a hatchback it doesn't take much to rock and roll. Anyways um a long time ago and I will keep it going as long as I can.
I bought the idq after your video they replaced skar vd8 and was way louder and sounded so much better running sealed enclosure under seat of a 15 turbo 5.3 Sierra crew cab!
i own a slc10s and man is it a good sub for its price point i really have nothing to complain about other than the magnet being a lil small but that thing does a really decent job even though I'm running it in an undersized enclosure tuned to around 44hz it still manages to play 30's quite decently takes rated power well great lil sub for the money if I'm being honest.
How do you think those 8s are. Looking at putting 4 tuned to 33hz in my truck under the seat. (08 GMC Sierra crew cab) and a ds18 3k rms amp. With big 3, all ofc zero gauge wire. And will upgrade my alt after a couple weeks to like a 250 alt
That’s what the installer was telling me . He said the Brand is over hype so I tried the Ds18 xl I took it out ASAP . Speaker is garbage 🗑. He was telling how great it was and I told him did you ever own a jl sub he said no the ds18 hits harder. I went back and he agreed when I played it
@@islandbul he's an idiot rofl. The J7 is the best all around sub money can buy. Now if he said a PSI platform 5 12 then yes, the PSI would hit MANY levels harder, but will never be as clear as a J7.
