Here's more info on the Omega Seamaster 300M 007 Edition at Lewis Jewelers: bit.ly/3yTJwE4 Mention TheTopher RUclips channel and ask for D.K. he'll take great care of you guys!
I don't think Topher dug into Aston enough about the digital cluster being as bad as it is. They're still not quite on it with the interior tech. I noticed a lot of lag, as he pointed out, but also some awful refresh rates.
@@xemphios Depending on what they had before its a step up lmao. If they cant get it right for that price they couldve gone the Bugatti route and made something beautiful analog, but this is certinely the cheapest way to get cheap chinese screens and call it a day.
100% correct. They were always behind Bentley in this aspect. Those past interiors lack in design and quality. Some interior parts where also bought from other brands.
@@thomasoreilly605 not only gauges as well i just dont get why they want everything to be electronic like ac and all the other stuff i think it looks way better with analog controls
exactly i f i buy a car for this price its not a transportation vehicle anymore its for speed and pleasure and i think it looks way better to see the revs going up on an analog gauge
It’s a stunning car. There’s really only two reasons anyone buys an Aston (IMO of course). One, it’s gorgeous, two, they can… I literally said out loud “no way!” when you busted out the Omega. Thanks for another great drive!
@@Jmarzx Told him to stop it and then did the same thing. I believe most people would agree DB12 looks better, simply because it has those timeless lines.
@@Jmarzx It's 100% subjective. While I love the way the Huracan looks, and some McLaren's. IMO opinion Aston Martin makes the most beautiful cars. Supercars like a Lambo are aggressive looking, but not beautiful like Aston's. I guess it depends on what your definition of beautiful is. For me, this is it. I appreciate both though.
I won't lie I'm very dissapointed about the lag on the infotainment system for a car that costs a quarter of a million dollars. Beautiful on the outside regardless.
All cars especially high end ones have crap screens. Bentley are as bad as this one. Kinda crazy that a low end phone has better screens than million dollar cars
Stunning as always from Astons. But those headlights look like they were borrowed from a Ferrari FF or a 458.. wish they looked different. But perfect proportions.
Beautiful car. It seems most high end vehicles have a series of 'quirks'. As you commented, there are many things that for some reason are not quite up to standard. All they engineers have to do is find and interview serious AM owners about their experience with their cars. They would get the necessary feedback to improve on the faults that are often overlooked on a new series.(Man, those Michigan roads looks pretty brutal. I am in western/coastal Canada and our roads could also use a major overhaul They're working on it but sadly the projects are about 50 years behind schedule! sad but true. JV.
@TheTopher not sure if you’re aware but for the EU/UK market new cars now have to default with Lane Keep Assist and other features turned on by default and you have to actively turn them off each ignition cycle - the thing you mentioned that might be a “bug” with the driver assistance might just be replicating how it works for EU/UK spec cars (not sure if there’s any US legislation on it?)
Absolutely gorgeous car! Odd the software teams did not sort the laggy gauge cluster seeing as its something you'll look at every time you drive the car
One of the most beautiful cars on sale today. I just wish they did something to hide that rectangle at the bottom of the grill, I’m assuming its for adaptive cruise control?
Love your reviews. Although can't help but feel as though the digital gauge cluster just looks cheap and nasty. The manual dials back in the Vantage / Vanquish etc were so much more classy.
13:14 You can still see unfortunately that the quality is still lacking...the wiper blade doesn't return back all the way after it got actuated. The issues on the car are mostly strange ones it seems.
What kind of Frankenstein engine is that? Sounds like it wants to be 4banger/Flat Plane V8 and then V12 when you get high in the revs. Nonetheless, I love the noise it makes.
What if the engine has 18 valves but the valves are miniature? Like teeny tiny model scale valves? What if you only have two valves but they are GIGANTIC? Like the most massive valves?
As I get older I kind of appreciate lighter steering. This thing is gorgeous. It is a pain in the @ss that the lane departure and a few other nannies have to be fussed with every time you start the car. That would be a deal breaker for me if I was in the market for a 250k gt, lol.

Finally an Aston Martin that doesn't have the interior of a 10 year old car on release
I don't think Topher dug into Aston enough about the digital cluster being as bad as it is. They're still not quite on it with the interior tech. I noticed a lot of lag, as he pointed out, but also some awful refresh rates.
Now it only looks like it's 5 years old.

It looks like every other car on the market now. That digital dash is a damn travesty.
Agreed on gauges. Premium cars should have gauges. Rolexes aren't Apple Watches.
Oh damn so well said 🫡
Agreed I’ve always thought that too?!

This car…this green color and black/tan interior is literally been my dream car to daily. So subtle but still luxurious; nothing gaudy
Lol you should rethink this
There's nothing subtle about this AMG cosmetic reskin.
One thing Aston Martin always gets right is the sound of the engine. My god, that is glorious.
Aston finally has interior that matches the exterior
first time I've ever seen topher keep traction control ON lol
Probably because of the rain/ wet roads?
@@StonedNoobno way 🤯🤯
AM is truly stepped their interior design and quality.
Exterior was always something to admire...

That is the most beautiful car on sale. I'm not sure anything else comes close.
Stop it thats subjective thing to say . This is not better looking then a hurucan or a mclaren
LC500 for half the price
V12 vantage

Thanks!
Thank you!
The exterior is absolutely gorgeous. I just wish you could get a v12 with a manual transmission in it.
Unfortunately times have changed my friend
The SOUND of that drive mode selector knob 🤤 must feel incredible
What nicely designed interior. Modern, but not over done.
That rain sound feels like asmr
Only Fernando Alonso was missing 🎉
That color is absolutely gorgeous
Aston Martin has the best paint colors, that teal color is a head turner
The new Aston Martin interieurs are so nice 🔥🔥
Companies have completely given up on making beautiful engine bays. Such a shame, as it's a minor thing I always appreciated.
Wow that color 😍
I just like the simple way you review cars, I'm a follower from Africa.
I don’t know I need an Emerald Iridescent colored car until today, this is the best color on a car imo.
i really like the interior, very sporty and feels like everything is bespoke for this car
Stunning as always from Astons. But those headlights look like they were borrowed from a Ferrari FF or a 458.. wish they looked different. But perfect proportions.
Acura, Cadillac, BMW, and Mercedes is enough for me. Keep and preserve your Aston Martin. 👌😆😎💯❤️
Michigan roads man... I was shedding a tear hearing all the asphalt pellet's hitting the bottom, color tho👌👌
Thought I was looking at a tiny model at first , your camera setting has a kind of fish eye effect makes the car look smaller than it is !😉
Love the video although a few shakes and rattles in a car well over $250k is still unacceptable
Apparently still carries over those Aston Martin traits somehow.
One of the nicest cars I’ve ever seen
Thanks for making this video i was searching this car but I didn’t find it
Wow. Gorgeous.
That color is stunning
Eagerly await your review of the new vantage when you get your hands on it. Astons just exude class.
nice 007 seamaster sir
Love this car , it's such a sleeper 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
badass car!
That color is amazing
Aston's are made for looks and feeling but not for racing. And that is exactly why they have so much soul. They hold on to their pourpose
A British machine with a German heart; who’d have thought.
It is interesting Aston manages to sell three very similar machines alongside one another.

3:55 the headlight rotary switch was also borrowed, from Mercedes
Sounds stunning
Just an FYI about the NTTD Seamaster, $10k is on the very high side. Chrono24 lists them from $7k and up.

That’s something I didn’t know 😅 thanks for sharing that ❤😅
Buying this next year, for sure
Absolutely gorgeous car! Odd the software teams did not sort the laggy gauge cluster seeing as its something you'll look at every time you drive the car
That sound is amazing. I could listen to it all day
I love this car - I only wish it had analogue dials!
Porsche PCCB brakes: a $9,000 option
AM ceramic brakes: hold my beer…
Beautiful DB12.
يارب اكتبهالي مستقبالا ، وسأسعي حتي امتلكها وسأمتلكها بأذنالله. ❤
Engine hood release is on the passenger side in most uk cars. So probs lay on “correct” side for that car.
The interior makes it look like a Jaguar weirdly.
love the rumble at low rpms
my god... that exhaust, that engine is just... unbelievably loud and angry... 😳☺
By EU law Lane keep assist can only be deactivated for your current ride. It switches back on by default in any European car built starting 2023
Tht NTTD seamaster is a particularly nice touch.
Daaaaamn that looks good
One of the most beautiful cars on sale today. I just wish they did something to hide that rectangle at the bottom of the grill, I’m assuming its for adaptive cruise control?
love it! finally
dude that engine just rips! low rpms you can hear the grunt of it and it just starts roaring the higher you climb! visceral powertrain on that one 😅
Love it!! 👍🏼👍🏼
That is one cool ass car!
Gorgeous car! Too bad the infotainment screen and dash have more lag than my 2019 Sonata. (I can't afford it anyway so my opinion is useless)
I really struggle to differentiate the Vanquish and the Vanguard from the DB12 since they pretty much have all the same front end.
Nice car!😍
Wow😮. Some day, i too will do a pov in this❤

nice looking Chrysler genesis coupe!
The interior slightly resembles the jaguar f type (mainly the steering wheel)
turbocharged engine with a couple iPad screens, could get the same setup in a Hyundai
I feel like I see some Amg Gt on the exterior bits
Sick car.
What kind of Frankenstein engine is that? Sounds like it wants to be 4banger/Flat Plane V8 and then V12 when you get high in the revs. Nonetheless, I love the noise it makes.
You should add timestamps like milesperhr does in his videos
Much better looking than db11
1:08 Maybe record the walk-around video on an actual camera to avoid the fish eye effect. I think it takes away from the car's beauty.
Is it the camera or is the refresh rate on the cluster horrendous?
Review the vantage next
At that price point it's hard to justify the laggy UI on the gauges. For me it would totally devalue the experience.
What if the engine has 18 valves but the valves are miniature? Like teeny tiny model scale valves? What if you only have two valves but they are GIGANTIC? Like the most massive valves?
Smirk as hell Charlie. Ur camping in the shade and she’s in heat. Although blacks come from hot climates.
Isnt the ZF a torque converter? If so I would expect this kind of car to have a DCT for that price
The steering whell looks almost identical to that of a new mercedes
oh my the seamaster
The lag on the dials is so bad. And the piano black gloss interior as well. Wish they didn’t implement that.
Car is begging for an unrestricted exhaust shit sounds so muted
Amazing looks and really unique paint i like it.
😍😍😍😍Verry Nice
Would you pick this or the vantage? Why ?
What are those vents leading into the trunk for?
Air spoiler
That glitching gauge sweep on the startup really annoys me 😂
It looks very similar to the Genesis logo.
Is it kind of ironic that the first time they ditched the V12 in the contemporary DB cars on the car with 12 in its name? Was it on purpose?
Nice Car
Wow what a car
As I get older I kind of appreciate lighter steering. This thing is gorgeous. It is a pain in the @ss that the lane departure and a few other nannies have to be fussed with every time you start the car. That would be a deal breaker for me if I was in the market for a 250k gt, lol.
Which one yall think look better, this or LC500?
