It wouldn't surprise me if The Men of Iron were inspired to build sun snuffers by this C'tan. If there ever was a directly C'tan related technology this would be it. One of the last known Men of Iron has said that he has met this being and that they can interact with ancient technology built by Necrons, eldar or even Old Ones.
What if it was not so much inspiration but that a piece of the sun snuffer is a shard of a c'tan. An the snuffing of a star is the shard as a side effect devouring it, and these were slowly rebuilding the shards in power.
It wouldn't surprise me if the men of iron themselves were created by knowledge imparted by (or even stolen from) the dragon, wich might even at least partially explain the revolt. It was maybe hidden in thier programming all along...waiting for the pre-programmed time to rise up against humanity.

Just a theory. The golden throne has xeno technology to help construct it. The throne also takes alot of juice. I think they either used knowledge from the void dragon in its construction. Or they put the fragment itself attached to the power going to the throne.
I thought the tech was stolen from Eldar? The Drukarhi actually made a copy of the Throne but tried to steal the DNA of the Emperor to use it. They also asked the Drukhari to help repair the throne.
It sounds to me like the story of the emperor imprisoning the void dragon is an exageration. Even a fragment of the C'tan should have easily destroyed ancient Terra, and although big E was a powerfull psycher, like Malkador said, the emperor wasn't really the emperor until he sigilites made him the emperor, so I don't buy he could have defeated it in medieval times. I think the dragon big E defeated during the middle ages was just a proyection of the c'tan, who was already sealed in mars by the necrons millenia before, and big E just defeated the proyection and used his psychic powers to reinforce the seals on the prision, then send people to build even stronger seals during the dark age as it was only a matter of time before the dragon escaped again. The whole "I cast the dragon into mars to influence the mechanicum in preparation for the great cruzade" is a lie he made up to look like he had godlike foresight. It was really all happenstance.
" the emperor wasn't really the emperor until he sigilites made him the emperor, " I thought he was always the Master of Mankind? So the Sigilites came up with the idea of the Emporerer after he left Moloch?
@@LutherMahoney It's not elaborated on what Malcador meant when he said that, but it's heavily implied this "Becoming the emperor" happened before the age of strife. There's also this one time some aldeari (or druchari? can't remember) referenced the emperor as a weapon from the golden age gone rogue. Which makes me think the sigiles "upgraded" the emperor (who was extraordinary, but not nearly as much as in 30k) into BIG E sometime during the golden age. Him having been "the master of mankind" all along. guiding the growth from the shadows from the very begining, is probably just propaganda.
Isn't there a reference to the Emperor shattering the "Labyrinth of Night" during the Rangdan Xenocides? Could this be aluding to the Emperor releasing the Void Dragon, or a part thereof, from the Notis Labyrinthus, or Night Maze, on Mars to use against the Rangdan?
This is a Job for Trazyn the Infinite!!!!!
Please chill!
I am working on it

I don't know... didn't the C'tan originally eat stars? But still a good point

He probably was the one who corrupted the men of iron
Read the horus heresy "mechanicum" and you will learn about the dragon
Yes, Inquisitor. This video right here
It's a secret weapon Primark
Is the void dragon the omnissiah?
Cause a Man of iron mentioned he met the true omnissiah
What is even the difference between the omnissiah and the machine god ? Wouldn't the dragon be the machine god ?
The emperor forged a deal with the C'tan, like the Necrons did in ages past. He also got immortality.
