Yet another brilliant video. This really helped. Can you please clarify if an LED panel would be a good fit for a small studio for content creation? 'm looking at one of the options from Godox. A bit overwhelmed with the large soft boxes that come with the LED lights.

Great reviews on your channel, thank you. I am trying to find a light that will improve my video production. I am a commercial photographer that also does run and gun videos for real estate and small businesses. So, the light I am looking for needs to be lightweight yet powerful enough to light anything from a small bathroom to a large bedroom and, if possible, a living/dining area. I think I would put it on a light stand with a lantern type diffuser to avoid possible colour caste from bouncing off ceilings and walls. Battery power also a must but effects are okay but not required. I like the look of the ML 60 but wonder if it'd be strong enough? I recently purchased a couple of R1's from you, after I saw your review, to mimic light globe light when the globe in lamps/lights not working and they are great, thank you.

Would you say that the VL150 could be a good choice for lighting the dark side of a face outdoors during sunlight conditions? In a normal interview situation.
Perfect! I guess I better save up and get the VL instead of the SL. In Kenya, all these lights get here plus 100 dollars except the SL60.

Hi hypop, does ML60 compatible with V mount battery or D tap? I don't like the battery grip shape and needing 2X NP970 battery is not ergonomic either.

great vid. But i miss the settings on the camera + output level of the lamps while taking photo's. That's quite important.
That's exactly what I thought (and said!) just now. The sample photos are little more than eye-candy without that info.

What are your thoughts about using the m1 or r1 for behind the scenes video and photography.
They're great little lights with RGB functionality to be used as a creative fill light or background light
I am looking forward to purchasing a budget video light for indoor gym fitness shoots. Please advise the model which i can refer to. Looking forward to hearing from you.
If it's for gym / fitness shoots that sounds like you'll be on-location so would recommend the ML60 which allows you to use batteries to operate the light. You may however need something stronger depending on the gym's ambient light so if you're after something stronger and have more of a budget then the Godox VL300 with a large softbox like the Godox QR-P90 or QR-P120 would be ideal.

Just got the SL 150 ii and seems powerful enough for a Gym shoot. All gyms have a power source so opted for a non battery light source. Will upgrade for sure if more power is required.

What is the soft box fit for godox FV 150? Pease reply me as I bought already the head FV 150 but I don't know which diffuser or soft box fit with Godox FV15
ist it the regular Bowens mount used by nearly all diffusers?!
The photos taken are only lit by the led or there is ambient light ?
LED only. Block out blinds were used during our tests.
No love to the LC500 wand lights?
Will add to this in a future video to include all the new lights including the LC500 light wands, TL60, UL60, SZ150R and so much more!

Is there any way to operate M1 R1 or CL10 through Godox light app?
Only the CL10 works with the app. Unfortunately no way to connect the M1 or R1

The Godox UL, VL or Knowled series are compatible with V-Mount batteries.

Giving the LUX ratings is okay, but not having the exposure settings, light power settings, and distance measurements made the sample images basically worthless other than as eye candy.
I don't think the USD prices are useful, the conversion rate varies daily and now this is two years old.
Any of you guys has an idea if there is a strip for the godox ad300 prowith godox mount?? not the bowens adapter and later put a bowens strip. thanks from spain on advanced.
