    This is the 101 that I totally needed. As someone who has just started shooting indoors for portfolio purposes, I had never imagine how crazy the whole set can pile up before looking at the set at the end.

    Hi. This is the best lesson in the world that I have ever met. The photos are amazing. The light patterns are immediately visible.     "Back in the day" we sometimes _did_ use a hair light directly on dark hair from the front.

    This is what it have been looking for. As an aspiring mobile photographer who is limited only to the use of continuous light. I had been struggling with all the light setup i can get because i really do not want to use one light setup. I cannot thank you enough. Now I know what to buy.

    Wow such great lighting class! I’m wondering 🤔 about the power of each light compared with the Key Light. Can I get good results with a half or 1/4 of power? I’m asking because I trying to apply this with Leds (continuous) and I don’t have all the equipment to try it out by myself.

      Thanks! The volume of light coming out of the softboxes in the back are going to be about 1/4 as bright as the key.

    Great setups. Thank you. I have two 800W lights and i am using them as main light and back light. Can i use extra 2 speedlight with two stripbox in this setup at 6:53? Do 800W flashes overpower speedlights?

      Thanks! You would need to turn the 800WS flashed down considerably because speed lights are about 60-100WS.

    Are you talking about static lights or flash lights or both? Tbh the info wasn't that clear and I certainly do not feel I got a good understanding.

      It doesn’t matter if you’re using continuous lights or flash lighting, the names will be the same.
