I totally agree with this video, particularly if you're a fit guy. The tapered ankle just works so well, and it makes your shoes look better too. If you can get the shoe to ankle in your pants proportions right, then you're 80% percent of the way to a great outfit, as the shoes are the foundation. I like my pants tapered to 6" to 6.2" inches (15.3 cm - 15.7 cm). That's the sweet spot in my opinion. Loafers and chukka boots look exceptionally well with the tapered leg, so do low top sneakers, and even sandals, if you wear those. Thanks for the video. Cheers.
I regret tayloring some of my jeans, i just found out some jeans has a unique stich called selvedge.. just buy a Slim Tapered type of jeans nextime if you want that skinny type
They look fantastic on you - my only comments would be while I prefer thin black socks over white ones, I recon if you where to wear black socks with either red, blue or turquoise coloured toes and heel to make the look stand out, especially if your stood with shoes off?

I tried a few pairs of slim chinos on in river island last week and i loved the style and colours but they were too long for me and a bit too much excess material for my liking. After seeing this, im tempted to but a pair for the £25 quid and see if they can be altered to a more tapered/skinny fit. Ill have to che k your tailor out, i vidit manc quite regular to vidit my gf so tempted to look him up :)

I think Josh have radical tapering.And he is medium gay. Most of my jeans (slim fit,tapered, skinny or evenwith straight leg ) have gentle taper from knee to the ankle so you dont have this carrot effect. I Think guys who have thin and slim ankle and dont want this excess material on bottom and this bellbottoms look sholud go for slim fit or skinny(but not this stupid sprayons or super skinny). More husky Build u think not so radical taper.

I commented prior that our measurements are the exact same. I'm a 33-34, but if I purchase a 36 its too big. I can comfortably fit into a 34. As for your tailoring, they look so much better, but have you ever asked your tailor how to retain the original hem? I don't like when my tailor cuts the original hem to shorten the length and try to copy the original hem. Its never the same. Can your tailor somehow retain the original hem?

For this you need a smart tailor who already knows how to do it. If I will go to my local tailor shop he will definitely ruined my pant and my Rs3000 or Rs4000 bucks will waste .
But it depends on men body type. As a very thin and slim guy most of mine slimfit and straight jeans are too wide at calves and ankle area. When i wear them with half break they give me this bellbottoms look. Or if i want cuff and no brake look they stick too much at shoe circle and look like flood pants. The best Solution that my tailor say its to do this illusion of straight leg but without too match excess material at The bottoms. The Key is that taper must be very gentle and start at The knee.
Pls - stop complaining: just flaunt your stronger manly thighs etc. etc, also in tight jeans!! Much more proportioned than all those unbalanced v-tapers.
