Never thought of it that way but yes indeed it is. The Decline is a big investment due to length but soooooooo worth it.
Green Day basically listened to this and the Decline and rubbed their hands together and went out and made a fuck ton off it.

Punk has always been a genre with a lot of political content, it's not that weird that two left-leaning bands would be thinking/writing about similar things, especially in the late 90s/early 2000s. Green Day didn't steal any riffs or lyrics, anyway. The two bands have totally different sounds.

The end of the song where they repeat ( I do not like repeating stuff too much myself ) , the intensity and pace goes up , so it makes for a short explosion in the pit. This band live with a good crowd like Montreal is totally crazy.
I love NOFX. But as an Arkansan (not an inbred) I feel we could have used a different state lol. The song came out in 05-ish. And gets truer and truer as time passes.

In case there is an question about where this band is on the political spectrum and who their fan base are ....the day after Trump was elected the official video for this song got millions of hits.... it was like a 15 year old song at the time.
I'm pretty certain that the would have the same number of hits if Clinton got elected.... NOFX are or at least were anarchists. NOFX or their fanbase are definitely not Democrats... Some of NOFX fanbase may even more on the libertarian side of the Republican party.
