YES, to the wear and tear of the belt loops! My mom is a seamstress, she taught me tricks of the trade: undo a few stitches of the waist band, insert a 4" piece of wide elastic, stitch and pull and stitch inside the waistband either at the back or on both sides! Who knew? ;)
Interesting concept. Not sure if anyone would use this daily. Seems like a emergency product. I feel like eventually it’s gonna rip the belt loops. Actually I bet you can diy make one. They should have put an elastic somewhere in the middle to allow some flex. That’s different than a typical belt.
My BeltBro just arrived. I bought several packs. I think I got a pretty good deal overall. We'll see how long they last. I've got them on as I type this and I am soooo much more comfortable sitting at my desk without my belt digging into my pandemic gut. And when I walk around, it doesn't feel like my pants are about to drop.
@@WritingWrules No, they didn't break any belt loops. But they aren't tight enough. Very comfortable when sitting but my pants are too loose when I'm walking. I had to switch back to a regular belt :(
I've purchased two of the large size and it is very comfortable. I don't tuck in my shirt except for Sundays when I'm in a suit, so for 6 days of the week, these are pretty good. I will have to see how they last.
As a woman with hips a regular belt often tends to ride up high in the back, even riding above the pants (esp. jeans). I'd like to try these to keep pants in place around the waist.
Pretty comfortable, been wearing a few days, only problem is they don't work great with all pants/belt loops ... If your belt loops are too close they do you no good
Belt loops are designed to just hold up a belt, not for a constant pull like that. I think the velcro would wear out before the loop popped, but it would be close.
I was about to order this thing, then I was like lets google it first and found your video. I sit and drive all day / night, so it might work great for me. So thanks for the info!
These are well made for what they are. Sturdy stretchy things with velcro. But, they distort the waist of pants and stretch the belt loops. My pants keep falling down while working on the car. Very embarrassing. I kept having to tighten the two of them. Not for me, Sending them back.
Beltbro is working great for my husband, but he may be a special case.. He has dementia and was having trouble going to the bathroom and unbuckling his belt. He won't wear anything but jeans... not even pajamas at night.. so this was the perfect solution for us.
I think these would be great for older guys with arthritis and/or bladder problems, undoing a belt buckle to use the rest room can be a hassle. I think they are worth a shot, not that expensive and if they work, worth it.
I got one that goes around the back only. It's elastic and has leather on the ends that snap. It is adjustable also like suspenders. I think I got the right one
Interesting but probably not addressing a great need for most. Not enough to replace the belt you already have anyway. The biggest issue I think is that it’s no more convenient to put on and take off than a traditional belt. Maybe a hook design could solve that. Just a quick hook onto one loop, stretch and hook to the next loop.
This looks genius. I wish I had thought of it. I could make one of these but the flexible material i don't think I've seen before. For guys like me who are just about resigned to sweat pants cause belts would either severely bruise, cut, chaff or worse. If you've ever irritated your under belly, caring for it is difficult. I had to miss a buddy's funeral cause there was no way I could sit and standing for a long period is no good. I'm stoked to try this. I love wearing shrink to fit 501's but they're heavy sacks and require a belt. If this works great, anything but a belt as I continue down this road trying to lose all the size I've gained but can't seem to lose. I'm at the point i don't eat anymore, still can't lose it and I don't have money to figure out why. I think I can afford this.
If you develop a boil or abscess on your belly then wash it twice daily with Hibiclens and rub tea tree oil into the abscess before bed or coconut oil. It really helps. Do it even when it's not inflamed and "healed" because they lie dormant. And an intruding belt buckle can make it pop right up in one day. "Remember me!?!" They can be freaking painful as some may know. 😢 The worst.
Help, please??? Thank for for explaining so well. I cannot find where to buy 'through you' and I do want you to get something for doing such a great job. Where do I buy wherein YOU get the credit. You did a great job of UNbiased research and 'splainin' ......
You're belt loops will shear right off their hinges with that amount of constant pressure. My side belt loops tear off from me yanking up my pants and that's only when I'm walking around.
I have been using something like that I got of Amazon... It's like that, but it goes from one front loop all the way around the back to the other. It's adjustable elastic... Obviously Chinese made, so it's more or less expendable... Each one seems to last about three to five months, but they're only like 22 bucks or something. Yeah, I've got the disaster gut going now, too. Dunlop over the belt buckle, yikes. That "belt" works ok, as long as it's my EDC is minimal... When I'm carrying full compliment of knives, keys, multi-tool, another drama, I'm hiking my pants up all day long, just like with a conventional belt, but it's not as irritating. I'd pay more money for a high quality one, but I just don't see any on Amazon. The hot trick, that I found lately, is under the shirt suspenders... That's the ticket. Even with the pocket full of tools, no worries. Holdup Brand, made in USA... The undershirt ones are made from Ace Bandage material. They take a little getting used to, but it's way better than hiking up your pants all day long, or dealing with having a tight belt to hold up your pants. Thanks for your videos! You rock!
I have a bit of a gut but no butt, so wearing a belt constricts my abdominal area. Bought the belt bros hoping it might solve the issue, but found the belt loops were too far apart in my summer shorts.
It actually works best with three of them, two on the sides and one in the back. Then, after some very careful adjustment and testing the fit, plus some additional adjustment...you can punch yourself in the face for being a putz and just put on a perfectly nice normal belt.
Interest idea but it simply does not work. Maybe with a lot of practice you could get it on but getting it tight enough to hold up your pants is all but impossible.
1. My pants are never loose 2 I don't think it'll hold my "tools" close to my body. Do they come with reinforcing 5 stitch models? And weighing a 6 in piece of velcro gets your man card revoked. Lol
Sorry, I see a huge fail. Either you're wearing pants that are a size too large for you or what? The bunching up is the most uncomfortable thing to deal with. I wear a suspender, its stylish and simple...
1:55 😂😂😂 hell no. That is so lame. Even geeks wouldn't dare to wear this belt. Just go to your local walmart and buy yourself a $35 dollar belt. Lol. It will last you 8-9 years.
I’ll admit that it’s not the most stylish thing in the world, but I think they’re catering to a very particular market here. The point was to get rid of the traditional belt and buckle if it was uncomfortable for you. Why would they go buy a belt from Walmart if that was the case?
Thank you for this review however I do apologize and I do want to point out a couple of things. Number one the jeans that you’re wearing are one size too large for you it is loose all over the place. The fact that you’re trying this product on those jeans doesn’t really justify a proper review. But I am do appreciate all the reviewers who review a product and take their time and present to a buyer such as myself to make a decision thank you. By the way my dimension if you wear one size smaller pants you might actually not need even use a belt. trust me I was in your shoes and now I don’t even wear a belt with the right measurement of my pants. I hope you don’t think my comments negatively and I do respect you for your comments and review and thank you so much for this video.
I appreciate your comment. However I will always wear what I want and whatever size I want. Demonstrating how the wallet fits in someone’s jeans might be the most useless demonstration of how it’s carried. I only did it for b roll purposes and nothing more. It’s the reason I don’t show pocket tests anymore. I wear Duluth jeans that have huge pockets. Someone might wear skinny jeans. How do I know what you wear? My point is everyone wears different clothes so this wallet will carry different. Regardless if I wear a size smaller or not.

I can see it being useful for air travel so you don't have to take your belt off and put it back on going through security at the airport.
Was thinking the same

I've got them on as I type this and I am soooo much more comfortable sitting at my desk without my belt digging into my pandemic gut. So, any updates on this belt? Is it ripping your belt loops?
@@WritingWrules No, they didn't break any belt loops. But they aren't tight enough. Very comfortable when sitting but my pants are too loose when I'm walking. I had to switch back to a regular belt :(

This looks like it was specifically designed to destroy belt loops. lol
That was my first thought. Belt loops are designed only to hold your belt up, not for tension.
Exactly!! I just got it and I am immediately returning it. It would rip the belt loops off my jeans in no time! A major flaw in the design idea.
A trick : you can watch series at Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Emanuel Aydin Yup, have been using Flixzone} for since december myself :)
@Emanuel Aydin yup, I have been watching on flixzone} for months myself =)

The downfall, the velcro has an expiration. They won’t last long.
Also the stress on the belt loop

These would definitely work for you then.
You also don't have to unbuckle and then buckle back up when you have to hit the restroom.
Try the Cinch belt from Trayvax, it’s very minimalist and comfortable!
Been wearing the Cinch for years as an EDC and conceal carry belt and it's perfect. Definitely recommend it!
I don’t carry a firearm but my pockets get heavy with all the things in it. Cell phone holder on the side.
Good to know they only give you ONE of each size so I guess you're forced to buy to packs? Sounds like a no sale to me.
BeltBro may be worth a try. I could see occasions when it would work for me. I definitely have the issue of my belt digging into my gut.
if you tuck your shirt in, that beltbro makes your pants look STRANGE with the 2 belt loops all contorted
You can also just sew elastic into your jeans and have fat guy jeans without the hassle.
Yes. I was surprised too
These are well made for what they are. Sturdy stretchy things with velcro. But, they distort the waist of pants and stretch the belt loops. My pants keep falling down while working on the car. Very embarrassing. I kept having to tighten the two of them. Not for me, Sending them back.
why not just use velcro
Once I found the Trayvax Cinch I don’t think I will ever go for a different belt.
I'd never spend money on something i could simply use parachord for. Man, i got too much parachord lying around.

Love these, thx for the review
Velcro does not last. Better off going to the Home Depot and buying velcro straps for less money.
Idk know if I could deal with panchayat bunching up so much and definitely doesn’t look like it would work with carrying my firearm. Thanks for review
I have the same type of thing for my 5 year olds pants, but his has snaps instead of velcro. We use the back belt loops instead of the side.
I will pass on these. Looks a bit awkward
Those are pretty neat. May have to check them out. Thanks for the review and demonstration.
I'm wearing my Beltbro right now as I type this and it fits perfectly.
We need levitating pants,
Or just wear robes all day.
I just bought the belt bro titan for $15 on their website. An absolute must have for drivers. No more belt wedging into my stomach.
My husband is Uber and that's why he is I terested and I'm watching the video.

If only you didn’t have to buy 2 packs to work 👀😂
I've been doing that same thing with a shoelace since the 80's

I've used a loop belt for years. Adjust as needed. The last one I bought the Velcro is not as good as the original and the belt got stiffer.
I just ordered one. Checking the video for second opinion.
Just ran across this, and it’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen!😂😂😂
Looks like the pants belt loop can break pretty quick because of those.
Thank you. =)
