i love your videos but disappointed you leave details out like exact seasoning you use for everything, what do you use to season your eggs? id be happy to get my 3 yr old to even taste eggs :(

I have two questions, one where did you get your Caribbean sweet potato? My mom and I used to find them and we’ve had trouble now. Also when did you start giving her bigger chunks? Because I’m trying to see if you’re a little one and you’re 14 month old video has as many teeth as mine to do or do you make her food extra soft? Thank you again for sharing your beautiful family.
@@shayfg2388 I get my carribean sweet potato at my local grocery store and even Walmart sells it. The West Indian stores mark the price up way too high lol! And I believe around that time I gave her the bigger chunks but they are pretty soft inside since it’s just potatoes, I think she had a good amount of teeth that time too 🥰
Aww, don't worry Mama, start with easy things like porridge, atleast you can put a good amount of milk in it, mashed potatoes, oh and even smoothies! I found smoothies worked great at that stage. ❤ Hope it gets better!
I've started watching your videos because a you're jamaican and my toddler is half Jamaican, b you're good idea are very good and I know my toddler will like them, and c you're video overall is very entertaining! I'm subscribed now lol! For this one can you please list ingredients or instructions on your seasonings/methods? This vid is missing details in the description and I'm about to go get ingredients for dinner tonight and I want to know what you did for the rice and chicken (seasoning wise)
How did you start solids. My son is 14 months and he eat some pasta and pieces of chicken but he isnt a great eater. He just squishes everything in his hands and throws food on the floor.
@@premed1329 Hey there, I think that is normal for 14 months, they do tend to touch and play with their food a lot. I started at 4 months after getting the go ahead from the paediatrician. I mostly did baby led weaning which is cutting food into very small pieces and allowing them to feel and eat. I only pureed a few things like rice and pasta, maybe some veggies at the beginning, and then eventually I just minced the food really small. Hope that helps 😊
Hmm, is the food chopped up really fine? Puree is a good start, better to be safe... I'd say it's best to consult with a Paediatrician for advice on this ❤

Hey girl! You're a mind reader. I have been contemplating making a video about the journey with how I started her on solids and what I think helped... I will film this next :) but for now, I think what helped is trial and error with food and also if they don't like it the first time keep offering it and even remixing it so scrambled egg, then fried egg for example. I also skipped purees and did baby-led weaning and I started at 4 months instead of 6 (with approval from her pediatrician).
