I have a very small laundry room, but I am using all of my organizing + decor tricks to make this space beautiful and organized! Looks great! Suggestion for your comforters. Space bags...put them in the bag...suck out air with vacuum.. they will be flat enough to store any where.

Put an entire sheet set into one pillow case (fitted, flat and 1 pillow case). Not only are they neater and more organized, but then you can just grab and go.
That's what I do. It makes so much sense.
I fold my pillowcases inside my sheets, it just makes so much sense to keep them together :-)
Since your washers are front loading, you could try to have some sort of counter (I think a light colored wood would look nice) made to fit on top.
Looks amazing! My suggestion would be use an empty baby wipes container inside the basket to store the dryer sheets and keep them fresh.
I roll up extra comforters and put them in nice king size pillow cases. They're contained, look neat, and you can color match to the room. Keeps them neat and clean.
I would put the dryer sheets in a ziploc bag then place in the basket. They air out and lose their scent.
you could always get some large baskets to put the duvets in or hang a small curtain or valance up there with a push rod that extends, but it looks so good! Love it
Turned out great! Makes me want to organize my laundry room 😀 Suggestion: hang a shower curtain rod in the top of the little cubbyhole where the cute pics are- to hang up clothes as they come out of the dryer!

You should put the comforters in space saver bags, so they can stay clean and take up less space

Laundry rooms are dusty so agree with comment to use bags to store comforters and probably under a bed.

A beachy wooden “laundry” sign would look AMAZING just above the laundry machines! Gives a focal point when you enter the room!

The sleeping bag stuff sacks would be great for the comforters. They have many colors. Or a couple big weave baskets that would fit up there would look great!
you should definitely buy some suction vaccum bags for those big sheets and then you can store them in smaller places i have them in my house and they are LIFE CHANGING there bags you can put the big sheets in use a vaccum to suck out the air and the bag gets really really small its AMAZING

A helpful hint for sheet sets is to fold and put them into one of the pillowcases then you have the set together!
Awwwh... your ideas are inspiring.
Since I am working at home during lockdown without any help; I also incorporated a lot of space saving projects.
I will add an extending rod above the small cupboard to hang clothes directly from the dryer.

Looks great! See if you can find a hyacinth basket or something similar to what your dryer sheets are in to put your pillows and pillow cases in. It would complete the look 😀
Hi Kristen. I love your videos, and I like that you are very down to earth 👌👍 For your duvet "problem", I think the best solution is suction bags. That one's that you take the air off with the vacuum cleaner 😘 Lots of Love

I asked you to organize your laundry room a few videos ago and I love what you have done I haven't seen the shelf racks before your video so I will be looking for them but I never even thought of putting art work in the laundry room so I need to brainstorm an art idea thank you so very much 👍💡

Reading some of the comments are really worth trying. I use these ideas myself. The after looks so much better than the before. My laundry room is even smaller. Washer/ dryer and that's it. Door to back yard. I love your videos and am getting good ideas from several areas of my home. ❤️

I'm loving these room makeover videos. I'm also wondering why you don't use vacuumed bags to store extra duvets. Keeps them clean and tidy

For duvets and extra pillows you can use vacuum bags, they can be then neatly stored in baskets, taking so much less space..
Keep ur blankets in a bag so it won't get dust :) very nicely organized loved it...

You could put them in a pillow case. Hopefully they’ll fit. A European size pillow case would probably fit rather than a standard size pillowcase:)
You could hang a pretty picture instead of that ugly van every thing else looks good

I'd add a wooden countertop over the washer & dryer to finish it off and unify the space. Just install it atop wooden strips screwed in on the 3 sides so you can pull it forward when you need to access the back of the machines.
Bonus, no more socks and undies falling down the gaps when you take them out of the dryer!
It must be amazing to have a laundry room. We don't really have them in the UK, the washing machine is just in the kitchen under the worktops as it's front loading and we don't all have dryers. I do envy you!
Have you ever used those vacuum bags for your duvets? I'm amazed at how much easier it is to store bulky items. Really nice make-over!
i use vaccum bags for my extra duvet its easy to store it and keep clean too x
I didn’t even know extra duvets were a thing..... we have one per bed....

You can use quilts and airbags with the vacuum cleaner, so you gain a lot more space and it's really very convenient!!!
I really like your ideas and have watched several vids today. One thing I will say (from experience, as an older person) - Less is more... I am working on getting rid of excess... towels, rags, plastic containers, junk drawer stuff... etc. When living in a small space, it is better to have less to clean and organize, less to wash. I accumulated a lot of stuff through the years, now realizing that I didn't need 1/2 of it after all (for someday).
For the big covers you can use bag that you can Pull the air out of the bag it will be thin and easy to keep up 👌🏻👌🏻💜

I can't believe you say that your laundry room is tiny! My laundry "area" is a washer and dryer. There is a tiny space between them, like 6 inches, so I purchased a rolling shelf that I turn lengthwise. The shelf holds my laundry items, like detergent, fabric softener, and stain remover. I love your laundry room.

A plant would look great in there. An aloe, lucky bamboo, pothos, ZZ plant, or leopard lily will do well in laundry room environments.😊
Check out the Marie Kondo folding method. I think you'd find the method works with your style and your organization would be much tidier. Also, you'd do well to find a pull down wrack for hanging clothes from the dryer.
Try using Space Bags for the blankets. Using your vacume, sucks them down much smaller in the bag. It will easily slide under your bed or fit in a closet.

Please keep making them 😊 Also just wanted to tell you everytime my mom hears me watching one of your videos she comes running into the room & says: "No No NO, start it from the beginning!!" & at the end she always says how amazing you are at organising and decor!! I also suggest the vacuum bags! We use them often...... also great for shifting and relocating collage students!

Always love your design, renovations, refreshes and organization videos. Side note, I see other RUclipsrs do this as well but…I can’t bring myself to pick clothes and bedding up off the floor, then fold & put away. If it hits the floor, it’s got to be washed.

For the duvets, you can get those vaccum storage bags, they have them at target, inexpensive and HUGE spacesaver
Maybe try the vacuum space saver bags for you duvet inserts. I use them to store my comforters that I'm not usuing
I love the tasteful way that you decorate and organized, but have two things that peobably because of my bad experience I learned. The dryer sheet can't be without a container because the fragrance evaporates and won't function the same way on your laundry, I fixed that by putting them in a clear plastic container 👍🏼, and the quilts, I did almost tge same think you did but mines used to get dusty so I bought reusable airtight bags( the ones you use the vacuum to compress the bag) them put the bags in a basket to hide them.

This was so pleasing cause it needed it, like...for real girl 😂👏🏼 love the idea of the basket holding the dryer sheets and the storage for the tide pods, such good ideas! 🧺 I just organized my junk drawer and my bathroom on my RUclips, and girl I felt so much better after I did them 👏🏼

Great video - maybe in the future -- add a counter to the top of the washer/dryer - and shelves (with built-in lighting) above the storage unit!
For spare blankets, duvets, pillows put it in those bags that you can vacuum out the air. will give you more space for more stuff; )

Lol, he scared me too! Such a silly guy!! I don’t know if you noticed but the really pretty dream catcher you made, the center of it almost matches the Volkswagen symbol on your pictures!! I just put the finishing touches on my laundry room cabinets as well. I had to work with what I had so it doesn’t match, but it’s organized and no one will ever see it doesn’t match unless they go snooping lol
