Weeeeeeeellllll.... it depends. Different skills for different heroes, some are just easier to pick up. Then there's also being able to hit mid-air targets like Echo and Pharah. THAT takes a lot of skill.

I'd say easiest to learn and play at first. Especially in lower ranks. But a lot harder to master once you start climbing up.
@@MrSting-fz2sn well yeah but u can not know how to do the advanced things with junk and still climb ranks and get kills, he’s a brain dead character, only time he takes skill is diamond+ because that’s when u actually need to implement those things, apart from that he’s just farming ult by spamming choke points for free kills then rip tiring the whole team.
People who say it takes no skill to play junkrat are the same people dying to him over and over 😅

As someone who plays on console with friends who are on PC I found that 80% horizontal & 50% vertical works really well to somewhat keep up with PC players. At least for me. Tracer however is 100% on both horizontal & vertical.

Aim smoothing have nothing to do with aim assist btw, it's just something relative to the speed of your camera + if you were playing with a controller on PC you just don't have aim assist in Overwatch, even in quick play (tested with a friend on PC with his controller, as a old console player by himself he know what aim assist feel like and he confirmed that he had 0 aim assist)
Controller players do get aim assist in PC games. When playing quick play with my PC friend I have it.

What pisses me off most about console players getting hate for aim assist is that pc players can actually hack, yet they flame controller players for playing the game normally. Also, for that clip of apex, managing recoil on controller is much harder than pc. At least let the controller players have their fun with the small advantage they have. Aim assist isn’t even that significant imo because I’ve never once been able to tell that someone was on controller via aim assist

I'm a controller player and honestly after adding a controller mod that gives you 2 extra buttons on the back of my controller I play similar to PC. It helps alot

Once you get used to how to move on a controller with proper settings (i'd say a week or two), you do not need to aim with your muscle memory. Just spray in the general direction and it connects.

I play on console but when I play with my pc friends it’s really hard to get value with any dps
I play a lot with my pc mate and at first it was a big adjustment. The genjis and tracer running around with crazy fast turns etc that you dont see to the same degree on console. But ive got used to it now and can actual keep up well on ashe.

There's no aim assist on PC Overwatch, even if you use a controller. It's exclusive to console-only lobbies.
As a junk main its lowkey fun if your hitting them sick flanks but brain off mode is good too👍👍
I Like the idea but you used junk rat… which there’s nothing wrong about it but to show differences from console and pc, that’s not the hero to pick for the main reason of you don’t really need aim it’s just kind of general area and spam.

Actually Hanzo is easy on controller, hitscans and high skill floor heroes are the biggest difference imo

I started playing widow, the sim assist threw my sim so much so I turned it off, and on pretty much every character it feels better with it all off. Glad we have an option to do it bc I don’t think I’d have improved at all lmao

This was interesting and funny to watch as a console player and if u felt like ur sens was too low when u was playing put your sens close to 100,100 sens or 100,100 sens and u should have no problems with turning
Good way to increase sensitivity without increasing sensitivity is to lower the motion smoothing

I’ve been a console player up until 3 years ago when I got my first gaming pc, and it’s still super hard getting used to the keyboard 🫠

So I stuck with controller and I’m decent enough with it 😅(I mainly stay on quick play because of this)
I main Junkrat, Hanzo, Orisa, Ana, and Moira.
Btw didn’t know if you realized controller player that play in pc comp lobby do not get aim assist regardless if it’s on in setting they only get aim assist in qp lobbies

You should try honzo because you can’t do the really quick turns on controller without really high sensitivity it makes him really hard to play.
The dilemma controller of every controller player is: quick flicks and turns or steady, controlled tracking. I personally love low sensitivity but as a result its almost impossible for me to play heroes like tracer or genji + in higher elo its almost required to have higher sense so youre able to flick faster. For starters however I think low sensitivity is better since its easier to control and making it a good choice for long range characters like ash, hanzo or widow. + i suggest trying out exponential acceleration since it gives even more control, although your 180s will be even slower, still only my opinion though. In the end it all comes down to practice anyway so it doesnt really matter for you since I dont think youre gonna put 500 hours into controller, especially if youre already cracked on m&k since the ceiling is a lot higher here anyways, although i have aim assist🙃
As a console widow main I can only recommend just repeatedly playing on console if you wanna get better and change settings you feel you have to

I play on pc with a controller because I literally cannot move my fingers for keyboard. But I've worked from lower 500 to plat as mercy and Lucio. My hubby, also plays on controller, plays hanzo and he's pretty solid gold.
If you play on pc, you don't get aim assist. Even if you play with controller.

This legit felt like my whole story of overwatch in 10 minutes, I started off terrible and then found j-rat and became obsessed with him and am now insanely good on controller with j-rat
I find it way harder to play on console tbh. I just find it way harder to track and to hit longer shots
Im not gonna touch much into the aim assist thing, but my favorite one is the ease in because it helps make your camera go faster, just max out both vertical and horizontal sense and then crank ease in if its too slow, and crank it down if its too fast. And yes i have to sadly give in to aim assist despite my hate for it just to be a bit more better in my performance.

I'll say that it depends on the game, at least for me. Not good at sniping on this game, widow and ash comes to mind. However, in COD, I can, and have, done well against PC players 1v1 with my controller. Could it be better optics? I have better mechanics with that game? Maybe. I've only been playing OW for 2 months. I tend to do better with Junk Rat, or Zarah or zoning type of characters in this game. Aim sensitive characters I struggle with.
