I like the view and I am actually used to it.

Quite masterful! The soundtrack is awesome and you can't beat that dawn transition. When you ended in Barstow it seemed like another world.

TheSolarcatcher - Thank you very much! You should have seen the weather just shortly after Barstow. That beautiful morning very quickly faded away as the sun became almost completely blocked by dusts.

What an epic video! Nice, high-quality editing, and really sharp video. Can't wait for episode 2!!

Amazing job! I'm really looking forward to the rest of this series. Your videos are some of the best of their kind on youtube.

    Beautiful Ode to the Sunrise!

Hisatsinom. The vast open landscape creates a very nice setting to enjoy golden hours (sunrises and sunsets).

There's nothing better than filming during the "Golden Hours"! I have to mention this again... This video is as sharp and clear as if it were shot in 4K. Great music to accompany the awesome drive, too.
Good ol' Barstow, where I always have to flip a coin between In-n-out, or Tommy's Original... The struggle is real. 😀

Kaydrah Communications Wanderlust - And I have never even heard of Tommy's Original lol. I doubt it will beat my love of In-N-Out's 4 by 4 though 😀

They're about a block or 2 from each other in Barstow. Tommy's chili burgers are amazing!

Sweet. Thanks for the info. Prior to this, I had always thought of Barstow as the city for outlet-shopping haha.

Great use of Speed Ramps for your editing. I imagine you used some form of Optical Flow to keep such a great frame-rate during the variable frame rate changes. Lots of trucks sleeping on the shoulders and slip ramps around there too. I'm guessing the local truck stops must get filled up early.

I simply turned on the "ease in" and/or "ease out" options at those transition points, nothing more. And for some reasons, I never paid attention to those trucks lol. Since those truckers were resting on the shoulders of the NORTHBOUND I-15, I assume they departed from the Los Angeles area. And it makes me wonder, why did they need to rest if they just departed?

It just seemed to be an awful lot of trucks. Great video btw. Terrific lighting conditions, you have a knack for that!

The video says you're from "a tropical country", if you don't mind me asking, which one?

  • @KevinLeeolympicslover100

No one asked this before, so I might as well ask it: What is the song that is used to introduce all your videos??? (Don’t know if this is a stupid question)

    • @AmericanRoads
      @AmericanRoads  6 лет назад +1

You are indeed the first to ever ask this question. It is the intro portion of a Christian song written by a church in Singapore.
