I haven't seen the SJ10X but I don't think you'll go wrong with the SJ8 Plus.

The SJ8 is what I would recommend based, it costs a lot less and the quality of the footage is honestly comparable. The SJ10 does produce marginally better quality footage though but I don't think it's proportional to the price increase.
