Yeah, bit was bloody annoying trying to concentrate! One of the nuts under the bonnet pin had worked loose making it like that. Another job before next season! 🤣
One thing on the vibration, 2 piece Props are balanced together which means if you don't mark them when removing you invoke vibration, same goes if you add a different rear half, the 2 parts need rebalancing together. I would suggest getting a one piece carbon fibre one made, makes quite a difference getting rid of the centre bearing and saves weight
Absolutely. We'd normally have to mark it. These props have one 'large tooth' on the spline, so they can only be assembled in one position. Both pieces of the prop were balanced when the propshaft was made. I don't think budget will allow a carbon propshaft on this old Jalopy! Fortunately, the vibration is now gone. 🙂
@@TuningShed ah that's good, prop shop in the US make custom fit ones you'll be surprised how cheap they are 😉 I got a one piece aluminium one for my Monaro come to £240 shipped with import Vat
That hood wants to come off so bad. Watching it lift at high speed is wild!

Awesome stuff! funny timing as I am fairly certain my center support bearing is going out on my XJR.
