There weren't many restrictions on it in some states back then, and the whole, "It's not really alive, it's just a clump of cells" argument was really popular back then. I really never heard of Paul Walker's "preference" for younger girls. He was 33 and his girlfriend was 16. That's a HUGE age gap of 17 years. I heard about Seinfeld and his minor girlfriend when it happened and Woody Allen is the poster guy for inappropriate relationships with minors. There's a whole lot of creepy age gaps on this list, but it's a bit odd that I never heard of Paul Walker's underage girlfriends, but heard of every other relationship on this list.
Paul seemed to keep his private life private. Something more and more celebs are doing. I've always had friends younger than me because I'm just not into the same stuff people my age are. In school, I was all about video games and cartoons (I still am, but I used to be too), while kids my age were into sports, cars and trying to get in the pants of anyone they could.
As odd as it is, some people just have more in common with people younger than them.

My cousin who was 18 at the time got his girlfriend of 3 years pergnate when she was 16 almost 17. They where a year and 9 months apart. Her mom and dad who loved him and let their daughter go on trips and stay the night with him had him thrown in jail. He had all cousty rights takening away. He has to pay child suport and was on a sex affender list for 7 years so he wasn't even aloud to see his son. It runied his whole life he couldnt get a job he couldn't live with his mom because he had a younger sister. He couldnt be around anyone under 18. He was on probation.
