Very solid list, thank you. I actually appreciate your more positive take on Coast Rider (you might be the first coaster critic I've seen on RUclips that isn't just tearing it to shreds and demanding it's immediate removal). It's one of my daughter's favorites at the park and I enjoy it as well, and even at 6'1", it is possible to set the lap bar to be managable on the shins. My only change would be with Sierra Sidewinder's placement. I consider it one of the most unique coasters in the world with how it manages the free spin of the cars, and it's one of the only coasters where you can get a very different ride experience almost every time you ride. I'd personally rank it above Silver Bullet for all the reasons you mentioned for both coasters.
Well... I rode Ghostrider last week (9/21), and it was not smooth. At all. It wasn't as rough and jostling as it used to be before the retrack, but man, it was still rough. We did ride it early in the day though, when the temperature was still cool; that may have had something to do with it.
I rode all of the coasters last year and here's my ranking of each one 8. Pony Express 4/10 way to short and restraints are uncomfortable, I just wish this coaster had more like a helix or something 7. Coast Rider 4/10 I like the first drop but it's too trimmed and the shin guards are terrible 6. Jaugar 5/10 not a bad family coaster, runs a bit rough and it is kinda boring 5. Sierra Sidewinder 7/10 I love this ride it's intense my only complaint is its short 4. Silver Bullet 8/10 quite enjoyable, first drop is ok but the elements are graceful not the most intense invert but it works for the park 3. Hangtime 9/10 it's very fun, the vertical lift and holding break is very cool it's a smooth layout the corkscrew has a slight bump or rattle but that's it, very pretty at night with the lights just a bit short 2. Xcelerator 10/10 what a fun launch, I love this coaster it's amazing, I was so happy when it opened back up and it was worth the wait, super smooth and that launch leaves your soul at the station 1. GhostRider 12/10 There's no better wooden coaster than this, long, smooth, airtime, it's a full package deal I love this coaster so much it's perfect since the GCI retracking and still smooth today, I see why it gets very long lines I wish Knotts had more and I'm hoping one day a Giga blesses this park I cannot wait to see what future coasters come to the park
@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od it's not a horrible ride just really short and not worth waiting an hour in line I also don't like the "motorbike" restraints, at least with shin smasher you have a drop and longer ride time even tho it's uncomfortable so is Pony Express especially on my lower back, the launch and tunnel is all pony has it would of been ranked higher if it did more than a figure 8
@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od El Toro has a fantastic layout and drop but it was the roughest woodie I've ever ridden, Ghostrider is smooth, has airtime and a decent layout it's not as big as El Toro but I still prefer it, I never rode Voyage so can't rank it I believe there's better wooden coasters out there but for now I really like GhostRider
Nice list man. Only thing I would change is I would actually put Sierra Sidewinder above silver bullet on my list. Sierra Sidewinder is one of the most underrated coasters I’ve ever been on and really catches first time riders off guard. You touched on it being in camp snoopy and I think because of that it was one I use to always skip because I thought it was an average kid coaster but man was I pleasantly proven wrong. It is a must for me every time I visit the park from now on. It’s been so long since I’ve been on X-celerator so I’ll have to wait to see how it compares to hang time, which I’m sure it’ll still beat it out but hang time is still a damn good ride too, nothing at that park gets my nerves more rattled than that 90 degree lift hill. Ghostrider definitely tops my list too, but in California Twisted Colossus is my number 1 coaster
I went yesterday for my first time, all I gotta say is that Silver bullet became my #1 favorite ride... I still want to ride ghost rider though, the line was 180 minutes and hadn't calm down throughout the day.
I'm really hoping they announce something BIG in 2025. A B&M Hyper or even a Giga is still not out of the question. LOSING one major coaster rather than adding a new major coaster in the past 6 years is pretty unacceptable for Cedar Fairs highest earning/attended park.
I liked the park. But why the hell are they running one train on Ghostrider? That's outrageous. Wait was up to 4 freaking hours. Got one pretty lousy ride near the middle. Wanted the back. Never in my life have I've seen operations like that. Knott's needs to figure that shit out fast.
They should really consider bringing back montezzoma's revenge.
Same I saw that also
Same❤❤❤
YAYY MY TEACHER SAID SHE WENT ON IT :D

Pony Express is so fun i rode it like 4 times in a row. The operator let us just stay on because no one was there lol
My personal top 5
1. Hangtime
2. Ghostrider
3. Silver Bullet
4. Supreme Scream
5. Excellerator
Absolutely Outstanding
I hope the new MonteZOOMa (sigh) isn't too different from that classic of my childhood.

Bro Srsly Puts Pony Express Behind One Of The Worst Coasters Ever Also The Voyage And El Toro Exists So Ghostrider Can't Be the best Woodie

@@Theonlyaaf3 ok
Thanks for the updates

They’ve been running 1 train I’ve heard and their loading time sucks, you just gotta go right when the park opens
Montezuma is gonna open next yr I’ve been to knotts lately and they were advertising it

There's this really cool Gold Rush concept for a Giga at Knotts on RUclips it's really good and I hope they use that
@@lamarcorlis2081 Yeah I've seen it. Its giving me so much hope lol.
A lot of downsides to Knott's coasters is their ride duration, but you really can't blame them for how small the park is
I love 💕 ghost rider from Knott berry farm?
Six flags Kida ka 2.0 with a LSM Launch and twisted Spike in 2026 opening.
I am going tomorrow and I am so scared now 😬
how was it, i just went saturday
A Bam Giga Coaster Coming to knotts berry farm in 2028 Opening date.
You Have Literally The Exact Same Rankings As Me
My mom said that it used to hurt her neck
Ghostrider smooth?!
Since the GCI retracking in 2016 its pretty smooth, they saved the coaster imo
The other thing about pony express is that the thing that go's behind ur back it hurts so bad.
