Tip 1: Move Artillery off reinforcement roads Tip 2: Use control hotkey groups Tip 3: Use control hockey group for AA to avoid SEAD planes Tip 4: Consider rules of engagement for ATGMs and Transports for Artillery/Command infantry Tip 5: Use unload on position order for buying infantry Tip 6: Send in your planes all together rather than 1 by 1 Tip 7: Use the F1/F2/F3 hotkeys to mark enemy Artillery/aa visually on the map Tip 8: Give change altitude for helicopters a hotkey to avoid enemy aa Tip 9: Use shift click make your planes turn away from enemy aa after firing Tip 10: Use return fire hotkey for Artillery to reduce aim to fire time. Your videos are very helpful, just wanted to say I think a good video would be to explain how to get more value from infantry and tanks. Seems to me that both are more vulnerable than they were in red dragon.
If you need a unit to replenish supplies and immediately perform any actions, you can select them and right-click directly on the FOB, and then assign them another order via shift. Thus, the unit will first completely replenish the supply, and then begin to move, unlike the situation when it stands near the FOB. Especially useful for artillery and supply trucks powered by FOB
Great tips. Especially #10. Way to save the best for last. Quick addon for Tip #9: You can switch off the gun for fighter bombers to better control the aircraft.
Pre-aiming MLRS on key buildings at middle of the map capzones is always fun. Do it as soon as the game starts and then when your forces engage on the opener they have instant artillery support.
'Send your air units in a group to overwhelm enemy AA' also applies to helicopters. A lone helicopter will get stunned and just start spinning with the first hit, giving AA plenty of time to reload and finish it off. If you want to use helicopters, fly in with multiple heavy transport & supply helos backed up by a recon helo and multiple gunships following behind, if you run across a random manpad, most likely they will maybe hit but not kill a transport with their first shot and then get spotted by the recon helo and rocketed to death by the gunships before they can fire again. And make sure you have some AA helos and/or ASFs circling to prevent planes from diving on you.
@@jungletroll3844 that's also a valid use for them, but the front is also where all the enemy's AA is, it's very easy to move your helo in just a bit too close and lose it and that's the most common mistake I see being made with helos, make sure it's on low altitude behind cover and only pop up to fire ATGMs at targets coming into range, stay well back from the actual front line
i think league of legends has one of the best button layouts... it's easy to transfer to this game and with a juicy mouse like naga you would barely need a keyboard

Thank you, I can't understand what he was saying fr
i have over 200 hours in the game and i actually didnt know about the artillery return fire one, thats so useful
Glad it was even helpful for a veteran :)
Pre-sighting your artillery is really useful in the AG campaigns when you have to deal with lots of incoming tank and ATGM units.

I would rather have my helo sat behind the front, right around where all my aa is, and use them to stop enemy armour pushes

With all of you AA selected what key did you press to shut off radar weapons?
Standard hotkey is H, I put it on one of my mouse buttons.
