This is a good overview for beginners. I think this could be primed for follow up videos where you explain each of these in a bit more detail with examples.

Yeah, Feeling Out in how deep I can go before it gets too specific and boring for viewers. As deep dives unfortunately often take more time then the general viewers Attention span / time + also my editing skills are still WIP. But yeah more deep dives are planned.

@@sd_league I understand you. Could keep it mid-level. Just the next step. Not the whole meta that might change from patch to patch.

Very nice overview. I have almost 200hrs but didn't really understand the tick mechanic. Now its clear, thanks.

I was just talking in the discord about how discouraged I was getting learning this game, because either my pushes or defense are getting annihalted out of vision, my recon either doesnt see or gets sniped on my pushes. Then I see this vid, love it

use smoke a lot when you plan pushes. smoke any area you anticipate having atgms/tanks or any other support

@@rzu1474 i like this passive aggressive tone, haha. Some mortars are not on foot, and the ones which are you have to keep their transport so you can move them around much faster by packing and unpacking. And 5k is not a small range
and what do you mean "most arty doesnt have smoke"? dude, learn the game, lol. rocket ones ofc dont have - everything else should.

I’m teaching my brother how to play rn, and I learned sm alongside him by watching videos similar to this

Thanks for the tips, I’m a noob and I get crushed in all my ranked games. I think the hardest thing for me is to remember to spend my points on time. I don’t hear this tip often, maybe because it’s so fundamental.

Yeah, its something us veterans forget about, but its key in every single RTS and it still holds up here, even with the simpler "economy".

I think in general, the praxis two is one, one is none really applies in Warno as having a single heavy tank or single AA piece for instance can be very impotent without support. Outside of things like snipers, you almost always want to have units together in such a way where they can mutually support each other and screen each other.
Another tip I would have for newer players is keeping up the pressure on the enemy. First two minutes of the game is taking positions but if you don't put pressure on your opponent and push them out of staging areas behind points they will be able to punish you in the long run.

I got to disagree, esp after the latest vehicle speed reduction.
It is rather slow and low APM for an RTS even compared to previous Eugen games.

Haven't played in a while. So, maybe?
Sounds utterly insane to call this game "slow" regardless.
I couldn't hope to do a 1v1 keeping track of everything, all flanks, and micro everything at once
Especially with how quickly everything dies.

@@rzu1474 as a multiplayer RTS compared to a company of Heroes, Steel Division 2 or Age of empires its rather slow. I usually only have 25-30 apm, compared to 100+ in AoE or 200 in a Starcraft 2.

@@rzu1474 I would recommend playing tactical 10v10s to get used to the speed with fewer units and then go into it bit by bit.
The game has a lot of mechanics going on, which you got to get yourself familiar with, but the gameplay loop around it itself aint insanely fast.
