As a developer, one thing I really really really respect here.... OPTIMIZATION!!!! Game is really nicely optimized and playable on all ranges of hardware! Something you don't see of much these days!!! This is a HIGH QUALITY GAME! Yes, there is always a place for improvement, but for a 1.0 release, this is amazing!
@@CainX10A Yup, used to play this on old 1060 before upgrading to 3060... it even worked on old i5 3550 (from 2012) and 960 (did that just to test things out during early access).. yes, it was on very low and game was ugly, but it worked and everything was smooth! This is what I fully respect as a developer!
Man this was my first pc game I ever dug into. And its been a journey, after 2 years I can finally beat medium Ai confidently. I don't play too often, well not recently atleast, but I have over 100 hours on this game just messing around. This gamenis good fun.
So glad that the game is finally out of early access. Though I don't have a PC yet, I hope to get one within the next few months, and WARNO is definitely on my list of the first games I'll be purchasing.
Maybe but it’s a nice 1.0 and I have a lot of my friends playing as it’s probably the best game in this area cause they went in early access and there is so much help out there for new players and the controls are and this maybe just me but easier to learn.
This is such a helpful video, I am using to recruit new members to the WARNO war effort. Your video also really explains a lot in a game which can seem full of obstacles hard to overcome for the average RTS player. WARNO deserves to grow its player base, your effort certainly helps. Thanks for the video!
Never played one of these before just because Eugen's games seem so intimidating, but seriously thinking about getting this, it just looks amazing. Thanks for the video!
I know I’m being a bit picky…. Any chance you could add the bookmarks or points where a new chapter starts? It’d help big time when trying to find that nugget of info I was after. Also, could you do some more beginner vids playing the campaign? The early access vids just confuse me being different map layouts. Maybe just short videos showing 1 campaign game at a time. Maybe just the first campaign & see if that works out well? The game is so complicated, it’s easier to follow along, rather than try and remember everything.
it really isnt THAT bad once you start. From the outside perspective it looks like a ton of information that you "have to" keep in mind, but thats just first glance. its not like you are going to count dps of assault rifles in a match and what not. most of the "scary" stuff will become second nature pretty fast and from there you will start to work on your strategy :)
Hey! I was initially rather intimidated by the game as well, but if you've watched a couple hours of Vulcan's replays you will likely have picked up a lot of the knowledge you need to play the game well! His commentary has been the absolute best way to learn the game. Just mimic what Vulcan does!
question, will there be new nations like Japan and South Korea for Warno? one of the reason im still playing Wargame is that they have more nations to play with, so i was wondering if the devs ever said anything about adding new nations
Hiya, started playing this now. Do you have any tips on how to get supplies out, how to manage supply as I am finding I am running out of fuel and ammo alot. Just got stranded units in really bad areas.
Great game but sd2 is better because when tanks get penetrated it matters more. It’s strange that warnos more modern tanks can get penetrated multiple times and shrug it off.
@@VulcanHDGaming I think they did it to ensure tanks lasted longer against modern weapons that hit most of the time even on the move and therefore penetrate and kill with the first shot. I think the real solution would have been to make tanks cheaper or to make all AT weapons penetrate less often especially at range. Instead we are left trying to believe that tanks can die over snd over again while still fighting.

I'm the Russian! This game looks like funny nowadays)) The Great Russia is fighting for Kharkov in Ukraine for two years! And in the game these warriors should occype Frankfurt-am-Main in 3 days???

Very good point. I am on older hardware (GTX1070, I7 6700K) and the game is so fluid (and pretty).

It's so cool that this game focus more on more casual SP and Coop compared to Red Dragon! Looks like I'll be getting it soon!

Just got the game after buying my first gaming PC. Long time watcher; excited to join you on the battlefield
@922Packattack Good luck and see you soon!

Great guide
Been waiting for the full release, loving the skirmish battles but wanting more to do after beating the EA campaign
46:12 Very interesting to compare how experienced Vulcan deploys vs me playing for the first time. Looks like there's a lot to learn in this game
Thanks so much! Well done for newbies to the platform.
I really want to try this game but i'm really scared of the HIGH learning curve 😅
Hopefully this guide gives you an idea of how to get through it :)

good thing we have new single player campaings to get more practice before playing MP

Warno work very well even on low end PC

Poland, Czechoslovakia and Canada are confirmed to be added to upcoming DLC focusing on NORTHAG and SOUTHAG.
Those nations are probably outside the scope of the game, which is war in Europe.
And Spain is going to be added
Hiya, started playing this now. Do you have any tips on how to get supplies out, how to manage supply as I am finding I am running out of fuel and ammo alot. Just got stranded units in really bad areas.
@Alborg83 Make sure you are bringing logistics with you. Trucks with supply or helicopters is what you need.
What happend with the AI-generated assets? Did they say ehat they plan to do with them (like have real VAs and artists?)
Really like this game but im bad with micro😂 and i get overwhelmed because so many units and my units die so fast especially my apcs any tips?
Could've been worthwhile explaining the different skirmish mode settings as well
So, it's exactly like Regiments and Steel Division then.
A fantastic guide.
is this a sequel to the wargame series?
It is not a direct sequel, but made by the same people. Focuses on Cold War gone hot.
Great game but sd2 is better because when tanks get penetrated it matters more. It’s strange that warnos more modern tanks can get penetrated multiple times and shrug it off.
I do also prefer the penetration system of SD2. Would have been difficult to implement in this game though due to different types of armour and ERA

Let's be honest here guys. Everyone who wanted to buy this game already did this. No big wave of new players is coming, unfortunately
It will certainly increase the trickle of players coming in though, now the game no longer has the "early access" tag!
I bought the game today because I’ve been watching Vulcan 🤷🏻♂️
@lotharthestunty7941 so the "early access" tag is really that important?
