That HUGE wall of infantry on the left just milling about had me laughing in despair... Fishman's Challenger 2 died trying to save those Terriers Pioneers while the other side just chilling... 😭
Hard fought in this one. Held off half of the opposing team yourself. I learn something every time watch a new Warno video from you. I’m still wondering, how do you turn off all your AA radars quickly? Is there a shortcut to do them all?
A tips and tricks tutorial video from you would be awesome too.
A left turn from the American and British armored players around the 20 minute mark could have won the game. People are so focused on holding their lane they often don't notice a big flank attack until it's too late. Not really something you could have done as an airborne division, but all those chieftains with air support slamming into the Russian left would certainly have killed all their momentum in the center.

Wanna admit, this Soviet counter-offensive from the Hotel-sector was completely awesome. Artillery strike -> airstrike -> infantry/armored assault -> repeat. Really good job of enemy commander

Given the amount of pressure you managed to pull onto yourself, I'm slightly surprised the left and centre didn't do a little better.
2 people fighting like half the enemy team... so its quite crazy the other side didn't stabilize earlier.
I was laughing at 39:40, seeing the stacks and stacks of infantry on the left flank doing absolutely nothing, after Vulcan had spent the last half hour smiting half the enemy team with his motley collection of a handful of airmobiles, sas squads and rapiers 😂
That was an epic struggle on the right. It was great fun to watch and those SAS men deserve the V.C.
The amount of artillery focused on them was insane lol. Almost nonstop for a lot of the match.
My RNG with the stingers on the SAS is terrible. I had a game today where the two SAS units I sent out at the start both fired all their ammo at a single Mi-8T(RKT), so 12 missiles, one hit, it then killed both of them and my sniper before the rest of my forces caught up.

Out of curiosity, and I'm sure there must be a reason, why wasn't there an effort to counter-battery any of that arty that was giving you such grief?
I don't understand why the British paras are still not shock troops when they are the British armies elite infantry?
I can just hear those aeromobile going "Bring up the piat!"
"You mean the LAW 80, right?"
"I know what I said!"
All the Airmobile and Armoured Rifles dying in droves to hold the line, but you know the movie would be made about the SAS 🤣
Hey Vulcan, is Warno harder/easier/similar to Steel Division when it comes to how hard it is for new player? I enjoyed original SD a lot and SD2 is quite harder for me to learn and micro manage all the units. I dont have much time to play these days and im just worried that i wont be able to enjoy multiplayer due to it being too complex and people not accepting a not experienced player into their games.

Given that it's a British force, would they be pronounced the British way you'd say "air mobile" rather than the French sounding "mobe-ill" at the end? I'm not flaming, just genuinely interested.
It's pronounced "Air Mobe-ill" because it's one word. If it would be seperate words you would read it as air mobile. Might be different in the US.

@@VulcanHDGaming Also, they have cherry berets, not red ones. Red ones are RMP, cherry are "airborne". :)
I had tried Wargame : Red Dragon and never could get into it, I picked up warno from seeing your videos, it is now by far my favorite RTS game since C&C Generals

This was a fun game to be a part of! Even if a lot of it was just trying to keep the left from collapsing entirely.

I'll say with all honesty that some of those Warno videos are better than movies in terms of pacing, drama and plot twists:)
I like Vulcan's commentary, as he never spoils what's going to happen and keeps us on the edge of our seats.
I highly recommend coming to his streams, it's extremely friendly and nice there.

I will be when Men of Steel arrives for SD2 but no new divisions on Warno for a little while.
i have a deck challenge helos only. all units must be helos or brought in helos.

I love watching Warno gameplay, especially yours. Must admit that after playing Steel Div 2 for few hours I decided to focus only on watching these kind of games and not playing them ;-P. Most mature decision in my life... but... the more I watch, the more I want to play, and most probably to suck ;-P
The more you play the more you get better right? Haha
@@VulcanHDGaming I guess some games require to focus on them, while I'm the type of player who likes to jump from game to game ;-P. But, well, decided to reinstall Steel Div 2... if I suck there less than before I will buy Warno. The very idea of clash between Pact and NATO is something on very top of everything in gaming ;-). Like Red Alert, but realistic and so much better ;-)

Why no artillery or planes to push the opps back?
I'm i the only one who misses the flavoured unit names from Wargame? like fusiliers and Paras, i feel it takes away from the feel when they are generic names like airmobile and arm. rifles. on top of the generalised national decks i feel like this game lost its soul, i used to enjoy building themed decks using certain units like a Marine deck using Royal marines and SBS. one thing i really liked is thinking back on a battle and imagining it as an historical battle with the units like paras and Ghurkha's'. But when im ording generic named unit 1 and generic named unit 2 it completely ruins the immersion plus the mixed nation decks so you cannot build a national deck anymore without leaving out units from your deck as they will be from another nation.
The other thing that worries me is the infinite potential to sell Divisions with slight modifications and maybe 1 or 2 new units or combos. Also who thought towed units was a good idea? there are a lot of improvements but they also did some questionable design choices. i'm still waiting for a wargame with the quality of life improvements like Range/LOS indicator and deployment phase order queuing. Don't really care about smart order system or the graphics as the huge pillars of smoke and particles affects just make it hard for me to see what's going on and makes it all feel a bit messy.

Considering there’s no dlc yet no
Eugen are pretty good at keeping power creep restrained. In SD2 there are some A tier divisions from the base game that can win against any of the DLC divisions, and I expect Warno will be the same.
