Okay you guys REALLY need to learn your hair products. "Cloud Control" is an oil and it will not "restore" your hair. Using it as a mask is equivalent of people thinking essential oils do anything. Just go out to your asian market and buy actual hair mask packs or hair treatment products. Also, you can't change the thickness of your hair because it is genetics. IF you are genetically born with fine/thin hair, it will always be fine/thin no matter what you put in it. Thus, which is the purpose of volume cream, mousse, sprays, etc. The only time I will recommend using oil is if you have put on all your product and your hair feels dry and crusty. Then I add oil to make it feel moisturized.
After using Ascend for a couple of days the way Joe had explained, I unfortunately would say I'm not a fan. To give you an idea of what my hair is like, my hair has always been thick but over the past year it has thinned out a little bit and I would consider my top to be a medium length. I used cloud control with ascend as a prestyler and then used a blow dryer to dry and lock it into place the way Joe does in his most recent technique video. My hair looked very weighed down and there was honestly very little volume. Keep in mind I'm only using one squirt of the product and yes I am heating it up as I run it through my hands. It could be that my hair type is just not meant for Ascend but I get a waaaaay better result with Original and cloud control together. Not bashing blumaan at all but figured I would warn some others of the issues I faced when using it.

Just test it out man! You can never go wrong. Try using ascend with the Pete and Pedro clay. The clay might weigh down your hair tho so I’d go easy with it. Clays are heavier and for us guys with thinner and straighter hair, it tends to sometimes weigh it down.
I have used cavalier clay by mixing it with a drop of argan oil and melting it by my blowdryer and use d it in damp hair then blow drying it and it works really good...you should try it

I tried it and unfortunately it didnt work! I was very meticoulou just like the video & hair became mushy & flat with just applying a tiny amount. Sorry i guess it doesnt work for everybody
Alrighty, I bought your Cavalier Clay and it’s very hard to evenly distribute through my hair, very tuggy. This sucks, cause when I do get it in (I start from the back) it’s like I ran my hair through a comb in the back, it clumps my hair together, but everywhere else it’s really good, the hold is fantastic. To avoid this clumping problem, could I mix it with cream? like emulsify it with some cream in my hand at the same time?

You morons forgot the part where it says "OIL", when's the last time a oil product you used for your hair ever given you volume or hold?

Clays are meant to be strong holding that's why it is tuggy. Try using much less or distribute it in layers.
S G the tug doesn’t really bother me too much, it’s just it clumps up in the back of my head.
I also use less than he did in his 2017 clay video, and I have more (longer) hair, as well as mine is pretty thick.
