I wore my first green beret in 1963. I still have the last green beret that I wore after leaving the bootnecks in 1971. I recently pulled it out of a drawer and tried it on, but to my surprise it was a much tighter fit than I ever remembered, considering that I had hair back in the 60's, but very little now. It is one of my prized possessions, along with some uniform items.
The officer presenting was an absolute gem. Down to earth and “ one of the men” 👍....perhaps he worked his way through from Marine to Captain. Superb to see.
Well done lads and congratulations. Isn't that bridge the most wonderful sight in the world. Your berets have been well deserved and may you wear them with pride.
Did you catch what the Colonel said: "... Are you the shortest man in the Troop?" Marine: Yes Sir. Colonel: Well, it's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog; stick that green lid on!" That'll do the trick!
@@hiddenassassin3233 he's going to get his gender balance end of this year I hear with the Royal Marines opening it to women but any women who can make it through all of this is the question.

Hoyah hayoh - I take it you've never had a bj then?
Everyone has ther best feeling in the world for them it is that green beret
I am not a Royal Marine but I feel so pleased and proud of not only these guys but everyone in forces who’s served
Don't remember that many people been about when I finished my 30 miler!!

Bloody essence video. Officer in charge looks stellar as do the training team. Monsters.
Apart from the fact he calls eyes right and looks left lol
Hoofin lads. Welcome to the club. You're CO is a fucking tank. Could've done with him when I used to play against the paras in the Trafalgar cup 😂
The instructor said eyes right and they looked left and saluted ? Maybe someone can explain, I’m not military obviously.
What an experience!
Captain Hercules Hurricane seems to have been promoted
look how tall that Dutch marine is
Bet they are glad that's over.
what's wrong the the last guy on the very left at the end ?
He must have failed an earlier test and needs to re-take it
What is that Dutch Marine doing here? Asking as a Dutchman.
The Royal Marines have a exchange program with the Dutch marines, he was the Sargent for this troop.
@@1967drew OK, thank you. I know that some Dutch Marines are Commando's too .
@@Steinstra-vj7wl The guy is HUGE

Very poor gender balance....it must be those 50 lb back packs.
Fuck off with your gender balance.

If any woman can go and finish all test, by all means join, but until then, I solemnly doubt any woman could pass this without standard dropping
