The hike is a 10 mile round trip and the elevation gain is nearly 2400 feet. This makes the hike a bit challenging but You'll be able to see some amazing views of Lake Tahoe from the summit and beautiful waterfalls on the way up. Loved seeing the sun dance over the lake but that looked a dam rocky hike to the summit of Mount Rose but man what a view! Looked chilly up there but nice to still see some colour about, cheers Alan
