- Peter and Kitra return to Star Wars Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland to try the Datapad experience in the Disney Play App for the first time, and experience Batuu at night complete with an unadvertised viewing of the Disneyland fireworks next to the Millennium Falcon. Peter also discovers the ancient Batuu currency, a coin called the Batuu Spira, which makes for a very affordable Galaxy's Edge souvenir.

Our family was very fortunate to see the fireworks in front of the Millennium Falcon during our reservation time at Galaxy's Edge...defenitely a very magical sight to see and behold. 😊😊

I feel like playing one of the in-universe actors who can't break character (like the Resistance fighter at 8:23) would be both amazingly fun and horribly awful. The improv skills you'd need to riff with guests (especially ones who will ask regular questions like "is there a baby-changing station area nearby?" and you have to answer in-universe) are insane, but it would be WAY better than being a Disney mascot or princess because these kind of characters seem to lend themselves more to being able to mess with the guests a little bit more. I know it's just day 2 so they are fresh with the roles but I hope to visit some day and talk to all the in-universe actors here.

The Umbrellas have a slight three dimensional triangle look which if you haven't thought of yet remind you of the shade covering on the sail barge has like Javas from Return of the Jedi shade

That play app with the missions and hacks I think will be good for someone like myself who is going by myself. i've given myself two full days so I have no doubt I will be able to see and do all I want to and then some and I think that little app game will just be a way to immerse myself in the land/world just that little bit extra. Plus give me something to do since I'm by myself.

These Mobile Minigames IN the park and interaction with the actors is really dope! I definetly like that.
Bad thing... There´s too much of the NEW trilogy and to less of the old. Anyway, I won´t see it anywhere in my life.
I wish they had it so that the California Galaxy's Edge was New Trilogy and the Florida Galaxy's Edge was Old Trilogy

one last question do you have a video of one of the desert parties? I have heard the best one is in Epcot and includes the Frozen ever after ride.
We haven’t ever done any of the dessert parties but I think Tim Tracker has a good video on the Frozen one at Epcot!

Not yet. I’m guessing someday there will be.
I think this app is a great idea but wish it had more stuff to do. They need to combine Pokémon go, Wizards Unite, the interactive parts of wizarding world, and this stuff. They could hire alien cast members and have them be part of the action. Would be SO epic.

Great Video-one question though. What do the credits actually do? Do you just use them to upgrade things within the app or do they have any real world use in the land?
+Vykk Draygo I’m not quite sure yet but we think you can buy digital goods in the app and upgrade tech and weapons on the app. I don’t think you can buy anything in tea life with them now but Disney has been doing surveys asking if guests would want the ability to buy exclusive merchandise like pins if you have unlocked them in the app

Not sure what the credits do just yet. I think you can buy digital goods with them and not anything in the stores unfortunately

OK so I have watched several of your videos on especially the Star Wars Galaxy edge theme park, but also a few from the Jurassic Park/World theme park and I have a few questions. First off, how many times have you two been to Galaxy's edge already? Also I have heard through your videos they don't allow you to wear any of the costumes they sell in the park, I was wondering if you asked why, I have my thoughts as to why, but I wasn't sure if either of you had asked? Last but certainly not least, I was wondering what jobs you two hold as it seems not only fruitful for your wallets, but also you must have nice bosses to let you attend these parks as often as you do? Either that or you live right next door. I plan on hitting up the park in Florida as we live in south Alabama, but I cant seem to get over the rules they have with only allowing a 4 hr park stay and also the Cantina 45 minutes and only allowed 2 drinks. Does the California park plan on doing away with thes time limits any time soon?
Hello. We have been 11 times. We have asked and they said it’s because they don’t want park guests to mistake people in costume as Disney castmembers. Search for the article on the Disney parks blog to see what they allow, it is a bit relaxed in terms of disneybounding. We both have jobs but live close to Disneyland. Peter’s job is he writes about movies for a living on slashfilm.com so some of those trips to the land were as part of the media events for Galaxys Edge. The four hour limit is no longer.
