@@Georelic35I’m pretty sure they’re not allowed to ever point their guns at guests, sometimes it breaks the illusion a tiny bit when they don’t aim at certain things that they’re threatened by, but usually they do it in a way that feels natural so you don’t really question it
Major kudos to the Stormtrooper actors. I believe that maneuver is called an 'authoritative retreat'.
This is text book behavior for Imperials that encounter Ewoks. The stories of the horrors of Endor are well known to all who serve in the Imperial military.

I believe the academy refers to this maneuver as "Oh hell the fuck no."
@@TheRoguePenguin that's standard procedure when facing intergalactic Teddy Bears that are skilled in guerrilla warfare. The next maneuver is to take off and nuke the entire planet from orbit. It's the only way to be sure!!! Otherwise, it's game over, man. Game over!!!

I worked at an amusement park for a summer running a ride. It is a crappy and amazing job at the same time. It is hot and dangerous, but I had the best tan I've ever had in my life and everyone there is having fun (except the kids that try to spit on you as they zip by on the ride - sorry bud - I do this eight hours a day everyday - I can spot you a mile away and I WILL have your little butt thrown out of here!) But I did feel bad for the costumed actors. I would seen them on break with the thing shucked down to their waist just drenched in sweat, drinking out of gallon jugs of water.
Shit, if this is in Florida, they'll be getting literally cooked in there

@xassassinx..5920 that's not entirely accurate. There were alot of other factors besides the battle of endor that contributed to the downfall of the empire but you point is understood.

That's what made me think it was a voicechanger and not pre-recorded lines. It seemed to specific for the situation, because the only other animals I have seen in Disney Parks (not living in the parks) were dogs training to be guidedogs.

@David Parkes if you count the times they shot at the heros then yes. Everyone is Terrible when they face off against the protagonist. These were soldiers that kept a pretty tight grip on the galaxy for quite some time and were very effective soldiers. But your point is taken

@@kaylawoodbury2308 Only for special occasions where they need a large number of stormtroopers then they will reach out to the 501st for help. For day-to-day operations, it is just paid actors. But those 2 are surely fans and definitely love their jobs.

Small, but I love how the actors dont point their weapon when taking a 'defensive' posture. Makes a big difference, and they're still able to playfully stay in character
The stormtroopers are my favorite of the actors. It's great to see someone making the absolute most out of every second of improv with a bit part. ❤ These guys were hilarious!
Mad respect to people in those stormtrooper costumes. They know how to have fun
They are tired but kinda worth to interact with park visitors and the paychecks as long as kids believe that they are real storm troopers

Awww these are kids memories. I remember going to JUNGLE BOOK in Leicester sq. UK. and Baloo bear hugging me. I was 10 yrs old. I will always remember that. These are magic moments for kids. God Bless there loud little self’s.

There may be prerecording, but definitely not entirely. When I went there I literally bantered back and forth.

The movies just don't do them Justice. In the books And in the comics the way they describe Ewoks is like a swarm of barbaric rodents. They may be small but anyone trying to mess with an ewok is gonna be overrun so quickly with thousands upon thousands of fast Moving camouflage extremely agitated rat bears armed with spears and force knows what else. -500/10 definitely would not recommend agitating ewoks

@skitariiranger4346 why? As long as you don't agitate them you're fine. Do some research and learn about about the various jungle beasts. Learn a bit about ewok culture and if possible try to establish peaceful relationships with them. If not well...maybe setup your camp right by your starship in case you need to make a hasty exit

Those Stormtroopers backing up in fear for their lives while the Ewok is just innocently wobbling around is the sweetest thing I've seen in a long time. Well done to those actors.
Theme parks get a lot of hate, often rightfully so, but most of the costumed actors at the parks really are great at their jobs. Whether it's Disney princesses, Stormtroopers, or the random creeps at FrightFests, the actors always know how to play their role and help make people have the time of their lives.
The actors deserve all the praise absolutely! It sucks most corporate entities treat them awfully :[

Anyone who works as a person who just wears costumes like that one will always be glad to make a funny reaction for the people there cause they love their job (at least this one)😂
Be nice if there were proper water breaks, bathroom breaks, cooling fan installs, better green room privacy, proper time allotments for cleaning the costumes, and a proper pay scale for their talents, skills, experience, and mental health dealing with abusive guests.

Okay, this is the peak perfection that performance csn bring. And nothing brings light to my smile as much as nerd culture, cosplay, conventions, and such as this. These two brought the real magic to this scene snd they deserve credit for it. And I'm not just talking about Galactic ones. 😅
I like their sense of humors and kindness play into that for the kid AND the adults ! 😀

The troopers ability to stay calm under pressure is amazing, they could have been killed and eaten at any time but they handled that Ewok like a champ.

These guys are really good actors, because sure they have tons of recordings from voice actors, you don’t realize that they have to choose each recording carefullly and make sure they connect cohesively. And acting with the body is important as well.
