Here's a lil tip for your cateye, on the flat bar magnet use the skinny end and move slowly give the pigments time to move .... like when you were trying it out on the bottle brush and it moved well... it's that same side of the magnet on the nail...I guess it's hard to explain in words without having a visual.... maybe I'll do a lil cateye 101 tutorial for you😉 Great haul!! You can buy the acrylic nail stand at Sweeties and it has no metal on it, so you can do the magnetic gels without it interfering. Gorgeous gels, and they are so hard to choose one over the other. I just need to change my polish every day to be able to use them all lol. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Little tip about using the rectangular magnets, use the flattest biggest side of the magnet by bringing it perpendicular to the side of the nail, it will collect the particles on on side then use the other biggest flat side of the magnet on the other side of the nail just make sure when u move the magnet from side to side you’re nowhere near the nail then use the same side of the magnet and place it towards the tip, keep the biggest flat side always perpendicular so that the small long side is facing you if that makes sense? 😅

Hey Crystal, just wanted to say, when you’re using cast eye gels you want to use a nail stand that isn’t metal as it really affects the cat eye outcome that you get. You literally just mentioned as I was writing this that you heard that the metal stand can effect it lol. So, yes that is true. I would hazard a guess that probably 99% of people make that mistake as like you mentioned. It should be common sense thinking about it but you just sorta go into your normal routine of putting a tip on a stand and then trying it out. Personally I find that the really really large magnets gives a way better effect I use to suck at it but I do so much better using those large magnets I get from SHEIN I love the all the products you brought I keep saying I’m going to buy me some sweetie supply looking at this video I know exactly what I want loved this video so much❤
So I believe but problem with the cat eye effect... On the brush u get a better effect bc, 1 there's more product and 2 your using the correct t side of the magnet. So on the nail use the skinny side parallel to the edge of the nail. ... Lemme know if that helps.
I'm not even mad about it being a long video.... the DVOK cateye don't always need the black base and I'm pretty sure that's also the issue besides using a magnetic base.
Hey, when you do your cateye swatch, don't do it on a nail stand. The little holder is magnetic. 2 magnetic forces together don't work. Just use a plastic swatch. Cheers 😊

Mix show me powder with a tiny bit of gel paint - it will thicken up the gel to an embossed - it’s not acrylic
