    My favorite part: 14:34...
    "Gently slide axle forward"
    -by kicking the shit out of it. My favorite tool.

    Ah excellent, I was looking for a video that showed the bigger, wider sealed chains fitting the Warrior 350 without eating up the engine case. I'm shopping for a new chain and sprockets, I'm glad I can upgrade to an o-ring chain.
    Great video, nice work!

    Is it still 54 foot pounds of torque for all warriors for the front sprocket?

    You should come ride with me in Yreka. We have a nice little OHV park.

    This helped me with the sprockets and all but I was wondering where you got that setup for the skid plates in the rear?

    • @trailblogger
      @trailblogger  3 года назад

      there are a few companies that make the metal skids. i had a DG baja skid plate on my old warrior. this one was on the warrior when we bought it.

    Obviously Aluminum would wear faster than steel, so what do you recommend for us larger framed Dads?? I couldn't see the part numbers you had on the packages.

    Probably a dumb question but if you blocked off the parking brake what are you using to make sure it doesn’t roll if you get off of it?

    • @trailblogger
      @trailblogger  6 лет назад

      Weirdguy35 not a dumb question. I usually just put it in first or second gear and that keeps it from rolling. That or turn the bars totally sideways and it usually stays put. Thanks for watching!

    Have you done a chain and sprocket video for the 700? I cant seem to find one and was wondering what you recommend for both trail riding and dune riding. I cant decide on gearing up or down and what company to go with. Figured you would have a good idea, seeing you do both. Thanks in advance!

      i've been running the EK chain and JT sprockets. there is a seller who does build-your-own kits on ebay, name is "idaily". for sand i would gear down for more torque, especially if running larger paddles. so two teeth larger in the rear OR one tooth smaller up front for more torque ( but less top end )

    I don't know if u will reply to thise but is that 350 motor the same out of a yamaha big bear? It looks the same!

    • @trailblogger
      @trailblogger  4 года назад

      I do think they are very similar but the transmission is very different. I grew up riding a big bear for years and they do seen very similar. I know a lot of guys take the oil coolers off a big bear and add that to their warrior

    Not sure if you'll reply but would this be the same process for a 99 warrior?

    • @trailblogger
      @trailblogger  5 лет назад +1

      yes basically the exact same. only difference is at 17:25 when I go over the chain adjusters. the newer warriors like the 99 have one long bolt across the top and one long bolt across the bottom to hold the carrier in place. the warrior in this video has 2 short bolts on top and 2 shorter bolts on bottom. you just need to loose the 2 longer bolts on your 99 to adjust the chain.

      @@trailblogger idk if you've ever replaced the rear wheel hub but mine is fucked up I've watched videos and they take the castle nut off by hand how can I get it loose?

    • @trailblogger
      @trailblogger  5 лет назад +1

      @@rodm2345 have someone step on the rear brake or use a ratchet strap to hold the rear brake in place then you use a breaker bar and a huge pipe. I have a 1.5" x 24" pipe I used as a cheater bar on my breaker bar. the whole thing is about 3 feet long. stand on it if you have to. use a penetrating fluid like PB blaster or WD 40 first and if that still doesnt work get out the old blow torch and heat up the nut until its red hot then turn it off. heat and penetrating fluid are your friends. biggest breaker bar you can find with a cheater. good luck man.
