I wish I could buy all kinds of the Tonka toys. I was to poor to get any of those toys. But I found a lot of broken toys that people would throw away on the old dirt roads. Back then that's were people threw there trash. As a matter of fact that was were our first T.V. came from. Even though it only showed green pictures. But on Friday night we watched the Incredible Hulk. That made up for all the other shows. L.O.L
I'm not seeing that a dedicated Tonka toy museum has opened on the top floor of mound City hall, the Minnetonka historical society and westonka also have Tonka toy displays along with other memorabilia, kids would tour the factory in the early '70s, memorable stuff
I remember in the 70s my little brother threw a Tonka dump truck at my friend's head. I thought he was gonna die, that's how well built they were! ❤❤
